26/8/2019 11:15 | Patience is the key..........too many people wanting to get rich overnight making lots of bad decisions sums up AIM. Look at MATD. If you held last year at 8p levels for Wild Horse and Snow Leopard, you in effect lost nothing after the bad news as its back to the same levels again now. If you held, and were patient. Same will be with Red Deer-1 and Heron-1. Only a complete fool would sell on Red Deer-1 bad news, as Heron-1 if it comes in, and its over 75% CoS, is worth on its own more than the current share price. So you have Red Deer-1 upside for free........in effect, if Heron-1 comes in good. | pro_s2009

25/8/2019 23:24 | What if its dry or a low flow. Only a fool would hold for the results. | deccer1
25/8/2019 17:11 | why Nv10 why not NV60? | taxibabe
25/8/2019 17:00 | Just a reminder, if Red Deer-1 comes in with the Pmean 48 MMBO recoverable, that would have an NPV10 of 300 million US$. Which would be transformational for a small company like MATD. They will be into Red Deer-1 primary target this coming week, with logging then to be done results should be during week commencing 2nd Sept. | pro_s2009
25/8/2019 08:23 | Meanwhile Oil Exploration continues relentlessly in basins situated Northern China of which are geologically similar to basins next door in Mongolia China looks west to solve energy riddle Craig Guthrie 22 August 2019 Xinjiang has potentially huge untapped reserves, but exploration in the desert province presents complex geological and political challenges Chinese NOCs are forging ahead with challenging ultra-deep drilling and shale projects in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, underlining the far western province's potential importance to the country's drive to meet ambitious energy security plans. PetroChina, one of China's ‘big three' NOCs, completed Luntan 1, Asia's deepest well at 8,882m, in the Tarim basin at the end of July, saying it had taken a year to drill due to complex geology and difficult ultra-high-temperatu PetroChina started drilling work on 47 wells at its Jimsar shale oil field in the Junggar basin, which the firm says has 1 billion tons of reserves. And, in July, PetroChina and fellow 'big three' firm Sinopec signed an exploration agreement to explore and develop oil and gas reserves in the Tabei and Tazhong blocks in the Tarim basin, which are known for their complex geology, as part of plans to carry out joint geological studies on 81 blocks covering 305,800km² in the Tarim and Junggar basins, as well as in the Sichuan province. | alistair4444
25/8/2019 07:05 | I was curious how they estimated how much oil was in a reserve, and if there was a more accurate method other than from seismic readings when they had drilled down to the reserve. Found following site with few answers. | myamay16
24/8/2019 14:02 | Tuesday is going to be a big day I think. Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th they should be into the Primary Target at Red Deer-1.....so....wat | pro_s2009
23/8/2019 16:47 | One of them is! Anyway, just ribbing you guys, have a good weekend. You just need a decent basin opening liquids find and you have it made. Will be the first to congratulate most definitely. | gunsofmarscapone
23/8/2019 16:37 | You seem to have got it wrong once again GoM, this is no wildcat. | 2solaris
23/8/2019 16:25 | Only ever held a position in a wildcat to results maybe three times, far too much bank holiday stress for too little probability of success. Football accumulators are more fun, over in an afternoon and good fun watching the matches and filling in the results. Four minutes left to jettison everything, open a few beers and chill. | gunsofmarscapone

23/8/2019 15:39 | Best is wait till Tuesday...either will go towards 15p or 5p... If it drops. Second drill will push it back to sub 8p... | matunde24

23/8/2019 15:11 | That's my point the rise was factored in and even if the flow rates increase then the share price won't budge.Even if it did you would see the sell on news brigade taking it back down again.5p is fair value but none of you can see that. Please DYOR as I'm not here offering advice. The MICE | catchingmice
