07/2/2011 13:23 | i don't know how much this is worth to PNG, anyone know Curry, poyxpixi? The field was brought into production, initially at 10mmcfd and now is ramping up to c. 20mmcfd. | yarisverso
07/2/2011 13:18 | Of course mclellan, Muppet Bhai and PMI wouldn't know these facts, because as non-share-holders they wouldn't have access to the AIMS admission document. So, they are talking from their ar*es again. | yarisverso
07/2/2011 13:02 | "It is all explained in the AIM Admission document including CPRs that were mailed to shareholders on Friday 4th. El Dorado was originally discovered in 1999/2000 by Pan American and Petrolex SA (bought soon after by Pan Andean). Pan American proved up about 220 bcf but did not want to develop the gas at the price then offered by Petrobras ($1.15 per mmBTU). Pan American's interests were then absorbed by Chaco SA (both then part of the BP group). BP's then boss in Bolivia rowed with the Bolivian President and fled the country under disputed circumstances in 2007. The Bolivian state recovered control of Chaco, and asked it to develop the El Dorado project. A 10km step-out well was drilled beyond the fault, and was a major discovery in August/September 2009. A re-entry into another well previously described by 'dry' also flowed gas and condensate in 2010. The field was brought into production, initially at 10mmcfd and now is ramping up to c. 20mmcfd. More wells are planned to get output up. So it is very good news for shareholders. DH | mclellan

07/2/2011 11:03 | MAJOR GUSHER !! David Horgan, Managing director, said the money raised would go on existing projects including two gas exploration blocks in Peru and a "significant" gas discovery in El Dorado, Bolivia. "We have found a major gusher on the export pipeline to Brazil. Production has already begun," Teeling added. | father o toole
07/2/2011 11:01 | JOHN TEELING'S TROUBLES ARE OVER AT CLONTARF John Teeling has secured an all-share £4.56million purchase of Hydrocarbon Exploration Monday February 7,2011 By David Craik ) IRISH entrepreneur John Teeling is on the road to El Dorado after securing an all-share £4.56million purchase of energy explorer Hydrocarbon Exploration. Teeling's company Persian Gold announced the deal back in June, resulting in the suspension of trading from Aim. Eight months later after what Teeling described as "frustrating" delays the reverse takeover is complete and the expanded firm is back on Aim under the new name of Clontarf Energy. It has rejoined after a £2.7million fundraising at 6p a share, giving it a market value of about £12million. Advised by Shore Capital, the company has interests in South America, Africa and Iran. "Delay is always frustrating," said Teeling. "Completing legal, financial and technical due diligence on three continents extended the time to completion, but we are there now." David Horgan, Managing director, said the money raised would go on existing projects including two gas exploration blocks in Peru and a "significant" gas discovery in El Dorado, Bolivia. "We have found a major gusher on the export pipeline to Brazil. Production has already begun," Teeling added. Clontarf also has a 60 per cent share in an oil block in Ghana and gold and copper activities in Iran. "We had two discoveries in Iran but we had problems getting permits. We will keep a watching brief but we may sell them on to a Middle Eastern firm," said Horgan. Read more: | father o toole
