25/8/2004 15:58 | Thanks. I don't want to select on price; i only want to produce two lists:- (1)Sectors with their respective sector P/E, and (2)Markets with their respective P/E. I can't see how to do it in toplist, filterX or advanced search. Where can i pull them up? Many thanks. | peetrader
25/8/2004 15:43 | Dear Peetrader, To import a criterion for a variable, once you have added it, you click on any price of it, and you get directed to the page designed to set your criteria. For more information, see the relevant help pages, the relevant threads, and/or email me at: orestisa@advfn.com cheers Orestis Antoniou | orestis
25/8/2004 11:53 | I've tried that... but I couldn't find a way to filter a list of sectors and markets along with their respective P/E's. When I clicked on a data item it tried to pull up fundamentals; when I clicked on a field heading it sorted the table by that column. So I sorted by title, and then kept scrolling down until i eventually found the Oil & Gas Sector... ie 1294 UBMIN07 Oil & Gas SECTOR MINIMUM 5.32 1295 UBMAX07 Oil & Gas SECTOR MAXIMUM 3,375.00 (What do these represent?) Could you let me know how to pull up a complete list of Sectors and the respective sector P/E, and similarlt for whole markets? Also, is their a manual I can download to help me produce simple reports, enter selection criterion etc, in order to produce filtered lists of markets, sectors, companies etcetc. I'm Ok with simple programming, sql scripts, etc etc, if nec. Many thanks for your help. | peetrader
