Beavers are being welcomed back into England as they could help bring water bills down by cleaning rivers and preventing flooding. Researchers believe their natural habits would save spending on treatment works and flood defences in some areas and costs would be reduced for the end user. The study for Natural England, the Government's wildlife advisers, and the People's Trust for Endangered Species, raises the prospect of an eventual return of this shy, nocturnal creature to almost any English river, even the western reaches of the Thames in London. And despite resistance from landowners and farmers, it seems that at least one water company - South West Water - is keen to deploy furry friends.

It does depend on your timescale.

I expect a significant fall in the general market sometime in the next six months.

why, because pennon subsidiary has just landed massive contract for waste management, this is no longer a pure water play. the market has not moved to price this in the pe is too low compared to peers. need any other reasons?
why is the share price too high then if you disagree?

Good evening MIATA, thanks for posting the list of allowable increases.
I note that SWW is to be allowed only a 0.9% increase which is the smallest increase in the list. At first sight it does look bad but it takes on a different light when SWW is being allowed to increase each households annual bill by £50, the highest increase on the list.
Perhaps bluepill made a good decission buying today. I think he has, good luck bluepill.

Well we now have the PFI contract (in heading), perhaps with that uncertainty out of the way share price progress will be made.

"sector rotation" appears to have stopped MIATA.
....just temporally.....must maintain a positive stance :-))

Is this just sector rotation? ie profit-taking selling in banks and miners and parking the cash in defensives.

So Invesco and Praipus increased. Looks very much like some more increasing is going on, very strong the last two days.

Good morning MIATA, I had seen the availability of the reports (bit expensive for me) and the summary only tells us what is available from the PNN website.
Perhaps if anyone has 'splashed out' and subscribed they may let a few of the 'inner secrets' of the report out.
MIATA it is good to see you are still showing an interest in PNN, are you still holding?

Thread inactive but the share price is creating a little interest of late, any thoughts on the quite large fluctuations? The volumes don't indicate a lot of interest, perhaps some stake building in the background going on.
Time we had some more T/O spec on PNN :-)

How we are holding 450 I don't know, UU and the FTSE both going down, perhaps when (if) the FTSE goes up PNN will fly.
