23/2/2011 17:54 | Aleoap, listed as a "top pick" behind the link. plus a write up on page 13 i got in at the close today, small position, i dont like the management but in theory we should annualised $60m in operational cash flow by the year end(assuming annualised 60k production and ~$500 cash costs), with hopefully a LOM of 10 yrs. Will like to see dilution kept to a minimum but i am not convinced, hence the small position | sporazene2
23/2/2011 17:00 | I'm looking for 52/52.5p for a significant top up, just in case this is a backtest of the recent break of downtrend. I'd be interested in an updated NPV10 calculation from luckyjonah if still around? Up and coming newsflow if i'm correct are further drilling results from Raub (RNS'd 11 of the 24 samples so far) plus Tersang end of Q1. Then we have the plant expansion to 2.0 mta from the current 1.1 mta - expected completion end of Q1. Can see the share price being bid up in anticipation of this.. Are any presentations or broker notes available on PGL? I'm aware Daniel Stewart have a target of 99p but I have no detail behind that. | aleoap
22/2/2011 16:46 | Can't see this staying at this share price for long. I've been a buyer this week, mm's attempting to make order book look weak when in fact it's the opposite. Max buy for most of the day was 2500 shares whilst can sell 50,000. | aleoap
15/2/2011 13:51 | Very quiete on here. This share is still overlooked. Its my largest holding now in monetary value. They are about to step up production from the end of this quarter ,making a small profit and showing some decent grades from their exploration. The trading volumes have really stepped up given these were almost illiquid a few months ago.I think a few are now catching on to the potential here and there is definiatly a large buyer in the background. I will await the herd ! | kickstart
09/2/2011 15:02 | Yes , as I say I like the price action I am fully loaded and think we may get a sudden sharp move up very soon.Lets see if I am right. | kickstart
09/2/2011 12:13 | Im in....ticks all the boxes inc unhedged. | greg the grinch
08/2/2011 12:57 | Looks like I was right.We have a big buyer around. | kickstart
08/2/2011 00:29 | Looking at the action over the last few days I think there is a buyer around.Volume with little price movement is often a sign of a buyer. | kickstart
03/2/2011 10:34 | jonny: very reluctantly out here. Decided on SOU (and a bit more SOLG) for now. We'll see if this works out ;-) Good luck to all holding: plan to be back! | engelo
03/2/2011 07:10 | engelo - yes many thanks for this heads up, appreciated :) | jonny flame
02/2/2011 18:21 | Jonny/Biggest Bill: (Final OT) BB well done on CAD: perfect timing! I directed the tip at Jonny as he has supplied me (knowingly or not) with many excellent recs and analysis over the last 6 months. This was the first time I felt I had something to offer in exchange! Back with PGL: seems clear that the rise was due to leakage of the RNS coming out and the fall was disappointment with the contents. There's a lot of 'sell on news good or bad' atm. 'Unable to produce profits'? Applies to most explorers! More clarity would help tho, as sporazene says. This still looks very promising to me on a 12 month view, but dynamic it's not. Tempted to transfer to VGM or SOLG or KEFI (all also very depressed but more immediate prospects imo) for a while. | engelo
02/2/2011 14:43 | Sporazene, pgl has already stated that they will start adding in the higher grade oxides later this year. This will have the effect of lifting the average grade of the feed ore from 0.7g/tonne to about 1g/tonne. This should result in a gold production of about 50,000 ounces per year. I have assumed that the feed ore for the plant will be split equally between the tailings and the oxides. Since the grade for the oxides is almost double that of the tailings, a bias towards one type of feed ore will change the production figures significantly. | biggest bill
02/2/2011 13:43 | Bill, based on grades and recovery I dont see production going above 40k PA on the 2million tonne capacity. Althought my maths aren't the best. I am also concerned about the random dilutive nature of the board and the general lack of info on cash costs etc although the website update(apart from the very annoying music) and the more regular updates are at least a start. What I would like to see (also agree with Robhammers post) is that: here is our production targets for this year, next and the year after here is our expectation on cash costs here are our exploration targets here is how much cash we will need at present there is nothing tangible to judge the board on. And for these reasons, I am out. | sporazene2
02/2/2011 13:04 | placing on way it seems. unable to produce profits | robhammers
02/2/2011 10:21 | Engelo, thanks for the tip on CAD. In the end, I accumulated over half a million shares just before the shares took off. Back to pgl; I don't understand why the shares have fallen today. The operations update looks good to me. The gold produced in the last quarter will rapidly become old news; once the plant upgrade is complete and the higher grade oxides start to be exploited, the annual gold production will rise quickly to about 50,000 ounces. | biggest bill
02/2/2011 09:25 | drill grades look good. Production during the quarter not so good, although with the commisioning of the CIL plant end of Q1, production should increase significantly, this won't feed into production for the current quarter though. No information on cash costs or how much they sold the gold for, although you would expect the average to be around 1,300 US $ an oz. This would have generated revenue of 5.88m US $ for Q4. | jonny flame
02/2/2011 07:21 | Operations and Exploration Update Highlights Raub Gold Mine -- 4,524 ozs gold production for Q4 2010 (all unhedged) o 338,943 tonnes of tailings processed Exploration at Raub -- New significant widths and grades of gold mineralisation at Raub project o Intersection of 6.0 metres @ 40.61g/t (including 1 metre @ 238.0 g/t) | jonny flame
01/2/2011 18:03 | Yes there has been a bit of volume lateley which is normally a precursor to a rise.I topped up yesterday after they dipped a bit liking the price action. Silly valuation at the moment by any measure. | kickstart
01/2/2011 17:11 | Biggest Bill: OT trust your CAD's doing OK :-))) | engelo
01/2/2011 17:09 | kidc: what's going on is a bit of sanity here for once :-) | engelo
01/2/2011 16:00 | People buying into a very undervalued stock, IMHO. | jonny flame
01/2/2011 15:37 | That's a nice rise. What's going on! | kidcharlemagne
01/2/2011 11:02 | You've done no wrong. | nofool |
