12/8/2015 12:27 | Welcome cfro. I have also been buying more this week. Must admit that this is sector that I wouldn't normally look at, but when I looked at last weeks results I couldn't find a good enough reason not to invest. As well as finance deals, many people are leasing their cars now, in fact as I look at two 2015 registered cars across the road from my Mum's house, I know that they have both been leased. | interceptor2
12/8/2015 09:51 | Bought in here this morning. Only a small holding for me though as not a sector i usually feel comfortable in investing in. Seems more people are buying cars on finance these days which is why dealerships like PDG and LOOK are doing so well. | cfro
12/8/2015 08:49 | LOOK results this morning seemed rather upbeat, which bodes well for PDG. Brokers estimates for PDG seem too low after last weeks bullish interims, which will very likely mean another ahead of expectations statement before the full year results. | interceptor2
11/8/2015 09:37 | Some large trades this morning CR | cockneyrebel
07/8/2015 22:54 | Lookers results next week has better margins both companies after a place in fste 250.... | rolo7
06/8/2015 12:55 | That's the 5p share revision I expected as a minimum off the results announcement.If it hits 50p I'd consider selling and re-buying on a dip. Although long term I think it'll go much higher than 50. | 1nf3rn0
05/8/2015 08:02 | Worth mentioning that PDG closed at 41.25p yesterday, which is a breakout from the 41p close on 11th March. Will be interesting to see if the share price can now hold above 41p, and re-rate as newsflow and new broker notes are released. | interceptor2
04/8/2015 10:53 | ive been riding this dog since the 10p days. Happy to sell when it gets to 100p | shaf200
04/8/2015 10:12 | Bought in here this morning after the impressive interim results. I couldn't find any reason not to invest, strong drivers at work here imo. Comfortably ahead to full year, shows confidence at this stage in the year. Net margins increasing at 1.34% versus 1.18% last interims. Net debt reduced 50%, this will feed through to reduced interest payments in time and hence higher net margins. Dividend increased 50%. Chart looks ready for the next advance now after the recent consolidation, maybe it just needed today's catalyst to breakout. | interceptor2
04/8/2015 08:29 | Cracking results | alanjames999
04/8/2015 07:38 | No reason for this being sub-40p after those results. Ahead of expectations for the year, growing market, progressive dividend. Should be trading at least 5p higher than it currently is. | 1nf3rn0
04/8/2015 07:36 | IMO best play in sector is CAMB | jaf111
04/8/2015 07:33 | I would say better value in Pendragon. VTU still undervalued, but not go the extent of Pendragon, especially after these results. All down to what you perceive as value. GLA | tintin82
04/8/2015 07:32 | Anybody care to guestimate what this might mean in reality?... "Anticipated outturn for the full year is comfortably ahead of expectations. Holding CAMB not PDG currently and not up-to-speed as to whether the PDG profit advance is essentially on a LFL basis or whether there was some corporate activity contributing towards today's seemingly rather good results. Thank you, Martin | shanklin
04/8/2015 07:28 | hmm. better sector value elsewhere. read across to VTU? | r ball
04/8/2015 07:21 | What an absolute belter set of results, superb! | tintin82
29/7/2015 17:48 | Results soon - the march management statement is positive, so will be interesting to see if the results reflect | alanjames999
23/6/2015 17:30 | This seems to be a bit stuck in a rut. Maybe some good interims in August will break the 40p ceiling. | jeffian
01/5/2015 10:46 | Strange there is no announcement yet of PDG selling their Land Rover business in Bury to Vertu. | mortimer7
01/5/2015 10:41 | Ouch! What happened there? | jeffian
11/3/2015 16:28 | outsiders must have bought in then. been very strong lately, even on week days. | nicedude1976
06/3/2015 13:00 | insiders sold out all their zero-cost vested shares in sync. Not exactly a great vote of confidence for significant share price growth in the near term. | ceaserxzy
06/3/2015 12:18 | jeffian 40 seems a real barrier for it. It would appear that the directors are of the same opinion. If I ever get reincarnated, I'll be hoping to come back as director in a listed company. | ed 123
02/3/2015 11:29 | 40 seems a real barrier for it. It bounced off 40 at the last high in Nov 13. | jeffian
24/2/2015 13:16 | resumption of the uptrend. great divi news. steadily improving profits. this will be reaching new heights imo, sooner or later. | nicedude1976 |
