Stream of buyers appeared for no apparent reason.

Not that I'm ungrateful and not before time.

Does seem a little odd. Call me suspicious but that trade of 8 shares early on maybe meant something.

Good to see a couple of director purchases.

The reason the share is so week is because no body is buying which is down to the time of year.
I have found the summer months a good time to pick up some cheap shares come September the buyers will be back thats for sure and things will be different.

I don't know Graham and it's annoying me now. It looks to me from the flow of trades it's just one party selling in volume and they appear to want out. They are trying to drip them into the market in a structured way so not to disturb the share price but clearly the amount they want to sell is too many and every so often the share price falls a bit further. Rather like they are on a deadline to sell their shares.

I can give you the following guesses:

1. The market is generally weak on anything financial
2. Market is worried about Brexit
3. Market is worried about consumer spending after this months data was poor.
4. Someone with a decent sized holding has died and the executor of the will doesn't care too much about the price they get.

I think whilst it might bounce somewhat we are stuck here for a while until the attitude of the markets changes. Some of the dividends on offer are getting pretty crazy which tells me the market has gone irrational for a while.

If they fix Brexit I think you can reasonably assume a 20% rise in UK focused stocks within a two week period. Maybe more.

If it's any consolation I have a large number of shares which are struggling right now and falling on what is very low volume and those which are going up it's like 5 small up days followed by a collapse in as little as an hours trading putting me back to only just above where the share price was at the start. Or put another way every time a share starts to form a decent uptrend line and I think it's about to sit on that uptrend line for the next few weeks or months someone bashes it apart. Probably deliberately. I perceive we are at a market turning point and "they" do not want shares prices to rise at the moment as "they" want to buy as much as possible cheaply.

I could be wrong. Either way I'm happy to leave Scott and the team to deliver the plan. The share price will sort itself out as the plan gets delivered.

Why is this so weak ?

Looks to me like a forced seller possibly on margin as someone just wanted out and didn't have time to get a decent price.

Mind you the flurry of small sales in such a short space of time would suggest some tip sheet negative comment. Who knows. Just let the company get on with building the business.

Alternatively could just be a move to trigger some stops

Just people bored in the summer months selling on no newsflow. I am keeping to keep hold of my shares. The last 12 or so months have been transformational to the business model. You only need to listen to the interview with Scott above to realise where this share could be heading.

PCF Group (PCF) Earnings-Reaction to Keep an Eye

A couple of things.

PCF market cap has now reached £89m. It is very difficult to get funds to invest in companies with a market cap of less than £100m as it's not worth their analysts time and energy. Also, liquidity can be an issue too.

£100m is a psychological barrier I'd like to break through

Secondly I'm really pleased with the ebb and flow of the share price movements. I like the way investors are now seeing a dip as an opportunity to buy in. I'm also happy to see the churn of investors too. Everyone selling here will be selling at a profit and well done to them. The liquidity is healthy.

They own a majority holding in Bermuda Commercial Bank. Yes, I like all the ICM managed funds generally. This link shows what they own.

Stockdale are not entirely independent, given they are also owned by Somers. Does seem odd putting a buy recommendation on something your common owner controls. Happy to hold though. Bit surprised deposits hadn't gone up further at the interim stage, but the trend is still good.

I am very much in here for the capital growth. If they pay a divi along the way then great, but a 10p share rise is far more important than a small dividend.

They have said before, they are building up the capital to become a much larger bank. Dividends will play a part in the future, but not a priority now.

When the share has risen from mid 20s to high 30s, I am always surprised people are worried about the dividend ? The return from PCF will come ( for now)from capital appreciation.

Dividends are currently 0.19p per annum.

Don't expect these to rise very fast. PCF need to retain the capital to fund their expansion plans
