26/1/2011 14:33 | Top stock pick for 2011 From Daniel Stewart....... PartyGaming (LON:PRTY) Target price 295 pence (current price 192 pence) The online gaming group is valued at 295 pence a share, giving more than 50 percent upside from the current share price. Analyst Michael Campbell reckons may struggle in the poker arena, where the likes of Full Tilt and Poker Stars are piling on the competitive pressure. However he reckons this will be more than offset by the performance of Party's bingo and casino offering. Campbell adds: "Party's merger with BWIN results in the largest online gambling business across a number of product verticals. It's the largest European Poker business across Europe and occupies top spot in casino, whilst sharing the spoils with Betfair in the sports betting vertical, though Betfair's model is distinctly different to the Party-BWIN model." | old joe1
26/1/2011 09:37 | MARKET REPORT: PartyGaming stages a US comeback By GEOFF FOSTER The International Gaming Exhibition, the most comprehensive and international business-to-business (b2b) gaming exhibition on the world stage, got underway in Earl's Court yesterday. It's one of the most important dates on the calendar for any company active in the online, mobile, betting, bingo, casino and street gaming sectors. They just have to be there to show their wares and hopefully drum up millions of pounds worth of business. Whispers from the exhibition suggests that Gibraltar-based PartyGaming (1.8p easier at 190.6p, which is soon to merge with Austrian gaming group bwin to become the world's largest gaming group, has pulled off a coup on the first day of the three-day event. It has signed a lucrative b2b deal with one or even two Big Daddy US casinos - Boyd Gaming, MGM, Las Vegas Sands and Caesars - to provide them with an online poker platform for the US market when it is finally regulated. PartyGaming has often said it will be ready to re-enter the US games online market via such agreements once regulation allows, in the state or federal level. | bleepy

18/1/2011 21:28 | Weekly Online Poker Traffic Update 1/17/2011 Online poker traffic cooled slightly this week, falling 0.8% after last week's meteoric rise. Six of the top 10 sites and networks booked a loss for the week. PartyPoker bucked the downward trend as it tacked on another 7% after last week's 19% rise. The surge can be attributed to the return of the Million-Dollar Hand. This promotion, a perennial favorite, rewards players with random playing cards as they accumulate frequent player points. The cards can be used to make a poker hand worth up to $1 million. The promotion has been reliably drawing in players since at least 2009. Also fighting the downdraft, Ongame Network logged a 3.5% increase. The reason is unclear, but it appears to be a delayed reaction as Ongame gained only 13% last week, lagging a bit behind its competitors. New Jersey residents await the governor's signing of the internet gambling bill passed a week ago. The governor has until late February to sign or veto the bill before it becomes law by default. If it is not vetoed, the bill will fully legalize online poker for the first time anywhere in the US. | bleepy
