08/8/2017 10:08 | Yes and No? I can see where you're coming from especially on a weekly chart but that would put PEL on very low 2017 p/e of x5.5! I can see no reason why this isn't trading at > x12 p/e, especially if the debt/ cash position keeps improving. Its also still in an up-trend imo. This time last year could could buy under 2p! There is definitely a lack of buyers though, hopefully the summer lull. | pj 1
08/8/2017 09:57 | In the absence of a material trading statement fair value is around the 2p mark (I've upped slightly from my previous 1.5p I recall) , historic pe of 23 builds in a lot of good news. Chart wise its looking scary as mentioned by the last poster. I misunderstood the sentiment before , but that's all it was i stand by my numbers. Suspect someone thinks the same and is quietly selling | ramas
08/8/2017 09:49 | The drifting Chart is now indicating a retest of prior resistance under 3pence, unless it bounces from here. | hallowed be thy name
26/7/2017 14:38 | Top up time again . Every time this dips to 4p I will be buying . So many short termers. 100 % happy to hold long and strong | 1savvyinvestor
26/7/2017 00:19 | It’s a long-term story here so just forget about them for the time being and check the share price every Christmas you might be pleasantly surprised! | playful
25/7/2017 13:11 | The Half year report should be out soon as it was on the 29th July last year where we got a "confident but cautiously optimistic" forward outlook statement. It feels it will need much more positive news than that to shift the shareprice from its current stagnating place. Lets hope that things are as positive as the AGM reports and the Directors realise we need News and positivity. An "in-line" won't do it, and will end up with more stale bulls slowly selling and further drifting of the shareprice. | hallowed be thy name
19/7/2017 21:29 | Good AGM report PJ and hopefully they win more business as it would be well deserved. They did RNS some daft things years ago but they are maturing now and I feel other companies on AIM can learn a thing or two from them. | playful
17/7/2017 11:13 | They still seem to be looking for Staff across all areas, including CNC Robot programmer. They key is if these are new positions indicating future growth or to cover some Labour turnover. They did indicate they were looking to increase 3d printing/ Robotic capacity, but I'm unsure of that has much effect on Revenues and suspect its more of an operational benefit financially and quality control wise. | pj 1

06/7/2017 13:03 | Yes, as savvyinvestor pointed out previously Capacity is currently £18m, so they are clearly planning, dare I say, short term Revenue growth. Although I think its only fair to point out again there is a risk of contract delays, and if there is nothing to pull forward in its place then a clear Risk. There has definitely been a lot of hard work and development put into the workforce (and services) such as equipment. Some of their 3D printing etc is being used by other Business's. The Senior Managers we met were extremely positive and pro-active within the Business, and obviously some very difficult decisions had been made staff wise over the last 12/ 15 months. It feels as if medium term its all down to Sales, they do not appear to be struggling to recruit trained staff, although some apprentices now I believe. | pj 1
06/7/2017 12:37 | PJ1. Thanks once again for taking the time to do this. Very comprehensive & quite encouraging. HY 29th Jul last year? | martinthebrave
05/7/2017 14:09 | Very little volume since the AGM. What do people think the driver is going to be to get the share price moving again ? Is a major contract or contract renewal expected ? Or are we just waiting for the next trading update and steady as she goes with little share price sensitive news released. | fft
30/6/2017 07:50 | I hasten to add that I'm not vegetarian! Seriously though I can honestly say that my personal opinion of the company is massively boosted by what I saw going on . The staff are highly motivated. We met the seven players just below board level on our trip round the units. They have capacity to deliver £18m turnover in house and other units available to build from that. Very little work is subcontracted . They now have 164 employees and the expansion is being managed with a clear eye on the cost benefit. After their problems a couple of years back their style now is clearly to under promise and over deliver. Meanwhile they are just really busy creating a fantastic company. It was interesting that David Bridgeford was there. A non exec there all week and heavily invested with massive Merlin connections. Something going on there. I contacted a major AIM portfolio company about PEL. After the meeting and they are very interested. The problem for institutional investors is being able to get enough shares! If I had to lock away money on an AIM share for three years this is where I would put it! | 1savvyinvestor
29/6/2017 09:35 | Just 3 PI's and the board.Good to meet 1SI and PJ1 (again!).Very interesting to see the progress made since I last visited the company over 2 years ago. It's very clear that John Dobson is implementing the systems to transition the company from a small family run business to a more professional outfit which now has 164 employees. | cockerhoop
29/6/2017 09:23 | No trades yesterday and none today (so far). Appears all are waiting for the lamb shank... Seriously, were there any analysts, brokers etc there or just a couple of vegetarian PI's ? Ta. | fft
29/6/2017 08:50 | playful- I think I blew it with my sense of humour! | pj 1
29/6/2017 08:44 | 5 hours did that include your interview for the NED position? | playful
29/6/2017 08:35 | Yes an excellent AGM yesterday, almost 5 hours on site, PEL really are second to none when it comes to AGM's Key points Another lovely Buffet I must now hold over 3% of all sandwiches eaten in the Boardroom Sadly no sausage rolls this year. My expanding waisteline is thankful though Olives and Salad were supplied this year. Inside information was obtained. MT has a sweet tooth I shall post more minor points when I can. | pj 1
28/6/2017 17:11 | Short post. On my way back from York from probably the best small company agm I have ever been to. After an excellent presentation we were shown around the work shops for nearly two hours. A harder working more motivated group of people it would be hard to come across . Workforce up from 130 to 164 in less than a year and everyone from reception to design lives the company . I'll leave pj to put some meat on the bones but this is a company I want to be in for the next few years. More to follow. | 1savvyinvestor
28/6/2017 08:39 | Pj and I will report back ! Maybe you are correct. Looking forward to seeing the company in detail . | 1savvyinvestor
28/6/2017 08:01 | They don't need to look far for Martins replacement he'll be sat in front of them today. | playful |
