Time to cut & run with par until New Year?! Big news coming on FML? Ex CEO predicts 8 fold (yes 8 fold!) increase in market cap by end of 2014. Sp has been battered...news due soon.

Be quick!

Any idea why the red light on RNS flashes on LSE, but I can't see an RNS anywhere?

I received this within 20 minutes of sending. The Friday email hasn't been answered yet.

Mike,

The only reason that Allenby included this in the RNS is that Jersey companies have recently been brought into the UK Takeover net. Before they were exempt. This is nothing to do with Greenstar etc but merely making sure shareholders know that Paragon is subject to it. I hope that makes it clear.

mubz. Didn't notice that there at the bottom. I'll check out this new 'takeover code' tomorrow.

looking again closely at the latest RNS few points we may want to note,

Simon Hunt, Executive Chairman of Paragon, said "I am delighted that Andrew Beveridge has agreed to become CEO of Paragon thereby giving the Company top class, African agricultural management expertise. I am confident that the projects we are currently looking at with Andrew and Greenstar could form the basis of a significantly valuable operation. To achieve success in this sector, it is crucial to have close relationships with both agricultural operators and experts. This acquisition brings both and will allow Paragon to move forward quickly."

and then towards the end of the RNS........

Application of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers

Following changes to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers in the United Kingdom (the "Takeover Code") that came into effect on 30 September 2013, Paragon is now a company that is subject to the Takeover Code.

I did ask him how the Companys' finances were looking and was there anything he could tell me. I also asked him if he was able to say anymore about the COs next move. He'll only be able to say so much....but let's face it, my last email caused a 280% rise!!! lol. We should be so lucky!

Mike. another 500k shares for you today.good job! if this drifts downwards again or even stays at this current level I will think about having a top-up also. What news would you expect next? I personally think it may be a while before we hear anything more but at least we can rest assured they are pushing forward and mean business going by what was said in the news release.. glad I held my shares throughout the spike.. it didnt get anywhere close to my target. Im not much of a day trader, but well done to those who made a few pound on it..
Simone.

The Count. I can't help you out with that info...not too sure anyone can as the new Co has only been going about 4 months. But I have great confidence in the management..to the extent I've just topped up with a further 500k shares. Best of luck.

How much money do they currently have and how do they intend to fund the expansion of a capital intense business model?

AGTA & OBT are spending millions, 10s of millions in AGTAs case, to develop and expand their African agri businesses?

How will PAR go about doing this with their current cash resources? I am genuinely interested to know so if any long termers may enlighten me.

ricki. Nothing wrong with taking profit. But as I said before the charts are fairly meaningless as the new Co has only been going about 4 months. I'm awaiting the next RNS. Best of luck.

simone. I basically just trade shares now so mine is certainly not a long long term objective. Must say I was a bit surprised at the pull-back, I was hoping there would be more buying today after peeps had time to digest. Nonetheless, my feeling is that we'll get another RNS fairly shortly. The Co has certainly got on with things and imo all is looking good.
