20/3/2002 09:30 | i notice PAR has moved up a quarter, but there are no trades. Is this the MM trying to attract attention to this share.I wonder if,by the end of the day, there have been no takers, they will knock that quarter back off.Spookily, only yesterday,i was wondering whether to buy more.Still, its nice to see any upward movement. It will move eventually, and its sure to be when i'm not around,to take advantage. Ho,Hum.Regards,,,Alf | squidavian
08/2/2002 13:51 | When will we see a move from this company.Market cap.is well below the cash they have in the bank. Will the board please do something.Even if its to start a rumour.I was convinced that the slightest hint of action would make these shares jump. But i'm falling asleep.I'm starting to not bother checking the price.Come on,excite me.I need it,i'm a Sunderland Fan.Trying to be patient,,,,ALf. | squidavian

03/4/2001 16:12 | I believe this company will fly soon. They got money to invest ages ago but didn't invest at time when techs were very high (wise dicision). With the heavy fall in techs they should be able to find a bargain. | k18
03/4/2001 00:38 | is there anyone out there interested in PAR? | k18
05/3/2001 13:36 | Following from Sunday Business, couldn't find a PAR thread so thought I'd start it up. Anybody know the target ? Martin Milken firm set for tech takeover PARADIGM, the media investmant company backed by 1980's junk-bond king Micheal Milken, is close to announcing its first deal. The company is in discussion with two technology businesses, but is thought likely to pursue only one. It is expected to announce a deal within weeks that will see it take a SUBSTANTIAL technology company public, through a reverse takeover of Paradigm. "We are not a conventional shell, the management will stay on to develop the business in conjunction with the target companys own directors. The alternative for a technology company look to float is not attractive. Unless they expect to be valued at more than £1bn they will effectively be small cap and wont get the investment bank following they want in the city" said Paradigm co-founder Bertrand Lipworth. Paradigm floated on the AIM last March, raising £20.8m in cash. Fellow Paradigm director Peter Dubens said most of the companies reviewed had been rejected because the business models were uncertain or valuations had been too high. | share mart |
