Another 10p special dividend coming - excellent. Well done Andrew Perloff - you are doing well! One get's the feeling that a takeover of Hawtin is next. We will have to see if I have guessed correctly.

15 December 2004

Panther Securities PLC ("Panther" or "the Company")

Proposed disposal of freehold property in Coventry

Panther Securities PLC announces that one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries has
entered into a put and call options for the sale of its freehold complex at
Copthall House, Coventry, exerciseable between 4th and 20th January, 2005 at a
price of £9,250,000, payable in cash upon completion, which will be 20 days
after the exercise of the option.

These properties were independently valued for the Company's 2003 accounts at £
5,250,000 and in that year produced a gross income of approximately £700,000
with a net income of £450,000. The current year's net income will be
approximately £80,000 higher than in 2003.

Should the transaction proceed to a satisfactory conclusion, the Directors
intend to pay a special interim dividend of 10 pence per share for the year
ending 31 December, 2005. This will be paid at the same time as the final
dividend for the year ending 31 December, 2004.

Are Panther lining up bids on Hawtin and Abraxus Investments? Getting interesting imo - Perloff always seems to get things right at the moment. Great company imo.

Check out OMG (www.omg3d.com / www.vicon.com)

With world class products, new markets opening up and cash available for further acquisitions, we expect OMG's turnover to increase dramatically in the next twelve months. Our fair value price targets for OMG are:

July 2005 : 52p (market cap. £28 million) + 116% on current level
July 2006 : 91p (market cap. £49 million) + 279% on current level

Current Price : 24p (market cap. £13 million)

Siggraph event starting Monday 9th August will generate significant sales for new MX system

I have noticed that Panther is ticking-up nicely whereas Hawtin has dropped sharply back. Do we have the answer? Has Panther stitched-up a recommended offer at c.12p or something? I'd be very happy to take more Panther shares for my Hawtin stake purchased at 10.5p. Any thoughts?

More positive news on the £8.5m disposal. Could be in line for another special dividend this year?

Looks as if one of the Perloff satellite companies have bought a 14% stake in quoted Hawtin, once a busy diversified trading co; now broken up with a small property portfolio and massive tax losses. Has a full quote currently but just going into Aim to save costs.

Could be an interesting play on a reverse takeover or a shell co in the making.

Worth a look for sure with Andrew Perloff stalking the business.

Another very amusing Chairman's statement from Mr Perloff - always worth a good read. Fully agree with his comments.

Excellent set of results as well with NAV close to £3. Any views?

Quite a bit of activity of late - £452k profit on Oakburn holding and more to come on Grosvenor Holding with an 18p take out price.

14% holding in Elektron and 3 factory buy from the receiver of Arcolectric looks interesting. The properties were bought on an 11.5% yield and the £500k investment in Elektron is now worth £700k or so.

All bodes well for the next set of results.

Anyone read Perloff's letter to Grosvenor shareholders - an excellent read....and some very interesting facts coming out. This won't do the board's reputation much good imo. He has my full support!
