13/5/2014 09:54 | Rumour has it that Putin is personally involved to ensure the deal goes through this week to show that dealing with Russian companies is easy and above board. | loobrush
13/5/2014 08:50 | Glad someone found it funny AAA - just trying to relieve my frustration a little. | smokyjoe
13/5/2014 08:38 | Wow spot on with the information Oli, looks like your source is really keyed in. Keep it to yourself, but I heard they are dotting the i's and crossing the t's on a Rosbunker deal and the RNS will be out by the end of this week or at the very latest it will be sometime later. smokyjoe - I took great pleasure from the Ferrari guy getting bashed, I once dreamed of buying a Ferrari, planning for when PAN eventually hit the big time - but no more, I got financially bashed before I got anywhere near the Ferrari. Could still just about stretch to the cigars though so all is not lost. | aaainvestment
12/5/2014 20:19 | I have it on good authority that we will not get an RNS tomorrow. | oli12
09/5/2014 10:52 | Moar Friday mirth, this ones for you PANtastic ! | smokyjoe
09/5/2014 10:44 | Just another PAN investor | smokyjoe
02/5/2014 13:05 | Am I correct in that Rosbunker is now in the accounts as an investment. Also from what I have read in the accounts none of Pans share of the past two years profits of Rosbunker have paid to Pan, is that correct and if so how much could this possibly be ? Can anyone help here ? | loobrush
30/4/2014 07:21 | If I had sold 100%, Murphy's law would have instantly provided a transformationally positive RNS! Do me a favour and try it out!! | bangers for bucks
30/4/2014 06:53 | Thanks! I didnt want to PANic anyone. I still remain a holder but at lower levels. PBI not renewed and RNS'd and current Russian politics and Rosbunker add worry and gut feel having changed are all relevant. Its been a long wait so that adds frustration too. The "sell in May and go away" theory often holds water too. If I had sold 100%, Murphy's law would have instantly provided a transformationally positive RNS! | pantastic
30/4/2014 01:27 | Whether investors are buying or selling its always interesting to read the reasons for someone doing so, thanks Pantastic for taking the time to provide yours. Enjoy your holiday. | cyfran101
30/4/2014 00:12 | I have to agree with AAA once again that the Belphar thing is unlikely to be as straightforward as the more naive investor may think. What I will say is that the other (remaining) institutional holders appear to be remaining loyal and they have more to lose than us PIs so I doubt there are any major issues out there, just the usual drops in the gaps between news. It's just a shame such gaps exist. I'm keeping hold of my remaining shares as selling at 14p is too painful - I'll sit those ones out. If it comes good, I won't make a profit now, but I will get a more relaxing holiday. Funny how a change in domestic arrangements affects ones investment decisions... News soon, hopefully. Otherwise we definitely get financials mid to end of June. Not long to wait. | pantastic
29/4/2014 16:27 | Indeed AAA they may well have, wealth like time is relative!! | exbroker
29/4/2014 16:15 | Exbroker - I don't suppose the ultimate beneficiaries of Belphar's stake are too happy but I don't think they(isn't the named owner IMO) will be left hurting financially as much as some of us. They'll have a few more £££millions or more likely £££billions left in their kitty. | aaainvestment
29/4/2014 15:46 | Think how much Belphar is loosing on the value of his stake...its only good news for him if he is after control rather than flushing out another buyer. | exbroker
29/4/2014 13:48 | lets see... this is something I would be delighted to be wrong about... there COULD be an RNS... but will it be positive or negative... with PAN you never know | oli12
29/4/2014 13:45 | Oli - April doesn't end until tomorrow. Everything could change tomorrow. Jam tomorrow. We should all know about that by now? | pantastic
29/4/2014 13:44 | PhilJones - stop making things up. I haven't sold my holding. I still hold a fraction under 60k of these. I used to hold substantially more. I reduced. You're misleading people, or, at best, a little hard of thinking. Like anyone who holds shares and then sees a price drop and drop and drop, I wish I had sold at a higher price and wasn't still holding enough shares to still have to endure more potential losses. | pantastic
29/4/2014 13:41 | Pantastic you have waited years for PAN to deliver some shareholder value (along with the rest of us) - when an investor who is as pro PAN/Simon as you cuts his holding for me its a reflection on the dire state of shareholder sentiment and stark reality check about the TRUE prospects of this "company" Yes there could be an amazing RNS round the corner however the longer this uncertainty and silence goes on the risks only increase - APRIL 2014 was make or break.... its about to be the latter. | oli12
29/4/2014 13:33 | AAA I've always had the utmost respect for your opinion here am sorry if my observation should upset you...... Funny how when Panplank sells his holding he talks about the possibility of 12p..... Funny that...;-))) | mrphiljones
29/4/2014 13:30 | I am guessing Belphar were after PAN's 50% holding in Rosbunker. Given the situation in Russia right now and the location of Rosbunker, he probably isn't quite so keen to buy right now. Total guesswork - we don't know anything much about Belphar's intentions - something else not clarified since all the fun and games last year. PAN might not know either, of course. It didn't seem like a very friendly approach - but again, we're going on very very limited information. | pantastic
29/4/2014 13:28 | Oli: "When Pantastic gets worried then you get the feeling its time to bail out!" Don't read too much into this. It's as much about not having anything to worry about when on holiday for a few weeks than anything else. Rosbunker was supposed to be sorted out this month and PBI lease expiry this month so a holiday in May didn't seem like bad timing - but it does now. The company would surely have had to RNS something if there was materially bad news? So don't let the MMs panic you out of your shares. I just don't need the distraction of holding shares with overdue news over my holiday when I can't research, react or otherwise. | pantastic
29/4/2014 13:23 | from www.belphar.com Belphar is a newly established limited liability company, incorporated in the BVI for the purpose of acquiring a 29.9 per cent. stake in Pan European Terminals Plc ("Pan"), with a view to making a possible offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Pan, at 22 pence per Pan share. Belphar was founded by Khofiz Shakhidi, who is the sole director and owner of the company. They can change this to 18p soon - am I right in thinking Belphar can request a further general meeting be convened to obtain approvals to enable conversion of the outstanding CLNs, at any time before scheduled redemption... when is 6 months up... June? | oli12
29/4/2014 13:19 | I refuse to sell my remaining holding at 14p. It was enough pain taking the loss between 15 and 16p. I sat on this far too long and had far too much belief in this than it warranted. To think I had my finger hovering over a live sell quote for 29.75p per share a few years back. Where's that time machine??!! Next support is about 13p, maybe 12p. OUCH! PhilJones - do you slow down to rubber neck at car crashes? | pantastic
29/4/2014 13:18 | MrPhilJones - Have I offended you in some way? If you wished to sell then I wouldn't fret about it, it's your business - so why the concern about me? I don't owe you an explanation - PAN happens to be my largest shareholding and has remained so for a number of years, I'm as annoyed as everyone else about the way things have turned out but I owe you nothing and would have sold if I had wanted to. Just take responsibility for your own decisions! | aaainvestment |
