not sure the share price will hold out for our next biannual RNS and full year results... PAN need to act NOW however I expect NOTHING just the usual silence.
When Pantastic gets worried then you get the feeling its time to bail out!

I think its more to do with PBI lease expiry being April 2014 and today being 29th than anyone caring about my "holdings RNS" post!

I wish I had sold my remaining 60k yesterday now as I have just watched £600 vanish on paper. Small fry compared with the rest though.

the market has reacted badly to pantastic selling down. lol

Seriously though, the PAN are at the mercy of the market and I suspect no one on this b board has the stomach to buy more shares now after being battered for so long, it doesn't take much selling to push the share price down if no one steps in to buy

We really needs everyone to kiss and make up in Ukraine - fat chance.

Not to worry, we've been in a bigger mess in the past!

the long wait is a secondary concern...but if you invested based upon a feeling and that feeling changes, you have to review that investment. My important family holiday affects the decision also. Changed priorities based upon my personal domestic situation having changed too during the last 2 years.

Silence could be golden of course...

well Pantastic your the most positive man on here so your above post sums shareholders feelings here - patience ran out a long time ago and eventually its time to move on. I will see out April - I would hate to have waited SO long only for PAN to finally deliver...

22p seems very unlikely now given Belphar's attitude when the original possible offer was suggested.

From a personal perspective, I'm away on holiday most of May so I had always diarised this month to make a decision about my investment. The original April target date offered some comfort that we would know something before I went away.

Dan Balt - in my opinion the current "jewel in the crown" of PAN seems to have lost some momentum and the last RNS suggested the upside may be longer term than I originally thought it would be (could be my misinterpretation). Let's hope that my concerns there are unfounded.

PBI
Still not heard about lease renewal which expires this month according to the original PBI acquisition RNS. It's 28th April today that leaves 2 days if the expiry was the end of the month. Nothing heard.

Rosbunker
The political issues in Russia are outside of the Company's control but in the absence of any update since February and since Putin started "getting a bit fighty", it's reasonable to assume that the following statement from the 21st June 2013 final results will have been compromised:-

"The Directors are confident that any of these options will ensure cash flow is returned to the Group by 1 April 2014 at the latest".

On the upside, the 2013 finals, if they arrive around the same time as last year (21st June) are not far away and will offer us something to read when I get back from holiday.

As the April deadline seems unlikely unless something happens in the next 2 days and the fact I wish to enjoy my holiday (which will mostly be without mobile, e-mail or internet access), I've been reducing my holding gradually to a sufficient level that I can relax whilst out of the country. I've yet to decide whether my remaining residual holding (a fraction of my one time 300k holding) is a sufficiently comfortable one. I'll continue to review that between now and next Tuesday.

I've still got some shares left but my positive gut feel I had pre-Belphar approach is no longer as positive as something has changed and you have to go with gut feel if no other information is readily available.

The 22p possible offer by Belphar seemed derisory at the time and the share price now is much lower now than it was then. I do not feel confident Belphar will return with a 22p offer.

Let's see what the next 7 trading days have in store for us. Given I've now turned a paper loss of double figures and turned it into a real loss and removed my opportunity for me to profit from this investment, Murphy's law suggests we'll get a transformationally good RNS tomorrow.

It's only money but I cannot have the worry and burden of the unknowns here during my important family holiday.

I remain holding a nominal number of shares as shareholding PAN is occasional entertainment and interesting if nothing else. I have a feeling it will probably come good so I wish everyone else more success than I've had with that but nearly 5 years of waiting and a change in my gut feel mean I cannot go on holiday with this on my mind.

We started to get newsflow improvement last year and then Belphar made their move. Since then...almost silence. We have the finals in June...they are not far away now...

Rosbunker to one side, why can't we have a proper update on the rest of PAN, there was talk of a revaluation some time ago? Come on Simon IF Russia is going to remain stagnant for a while then share some news from the rest of the company!!

There are two separate issues that have a direct relation to the share price.
Firstly, Rosebunker where we are at the mercy of geopolitical issues and the company's ability to sort it out. This may take some time.
Secondly, there is the company's trading on the other terminals. Here the management have been very tight lipped. If the company is trading well, it should announce it immediately rather than leave itself at the mercy of unscrupulous asset strippers and people who want to buy it on the cheap.

We really have paid a hefty price for owning Rosbunker - the sooner it's sold the better but I suspect that until the Ukrainian troubles are played out to a conclusion we are unlikely to see a deal. In fact, unlikely to see any deals to buy/sell terminals with the threat of sanctions hanging over the energy market.

The current share price already reflects the problems IMO so I think the downside is now very limited - I'm thoroughly *issed off with the whole thing though.

On the plus side as there is a scramble to tank up on supplies across Europe perhaps we are seeing more profitable trading through our operations.

I think you are spot on with your conclusions silverland, I bought in a little higher than this as I had reached the same opinion.

Finals last year were in June, hope they are sooner this year- however news on Dan Balt are a bit overdue and news on Rosbunker expected at any time.

You may have just picked the bottom of the share price range, a raging buy at this price Imho..

I now bought a further 45000 shares at 16.15p, making a total purchase of 100000 for the day.

I bought 55000 shares at 16p though this is not yet reflected in today's trade.
The reason why I added is by reasoning that if Belphar were willing to pay 22p a share, they must have thought that they are worth a lot more than that and they will have the opportunity to bid again after the 19th of May.
Also, the management have been making noises that the company has been trading well ,(although they have to categorically said so). This must be good for the shares once confirmed.

The last couple of days there have been some decent ish sized single buy trades, just a few minutes before close. It gives some confidence amongst all the boredom sells etc.

I will be the first to admit now though - having had much more success with my other shareholders (which are sadly smaller than my PAN holding) - I have been over optimistic about PAN. That said, it's not over yet and there are plenty of rubbish AIM shares out there that have never and will never make a profit and PAN, especially with the new European businesses, does offer promise - again - for the patient!

I'm not adding more though. I can resist anything - except temptation - usually... but PAN shares have had enough of my money and optimism. I'm not selling though. Gut feel and all that. I've written off the idea of it paying off my car and mortgage but feel I should still come out with a profit.

This month is supposed to be the month. Let's see ...

I think most of us have demonstrated we have patience.

Sadly, Putin wanting to expand Russia and take Ukraine and now it seems Finland, and wherever else next, is beyond the Board's control and isn't Simon's fault - let's face it. However, I don't imagine such things have sped up the Rosbunker process.

So, yeah, (more) patience is required, but there are things you really can't blame on the Company going on right now.

The last Operational Update stated that steps taken to mitigate political and geographical risks would extend the time to complete any transaction. I took that to mean that Simon was subtly saying that he would not meet his previous self imposed deadline of 1 April.

Great, another deadline passes with zero comment from PAN and the share price continues to drip lower, who could have predicted that ? (sarc)
