17/11/2023 16:09 | By the way we have a lovely big bull flag forming on the chart today so next week may be abit tasty alongside that Wheaton International news being understood. Might see some big moves here ahead of ex divi date on 30th november | allesandro
17/11/2023 16:05 | xb6 & dantee, guys your 25p estimate may not be far off the mark here but of course if more than one partie is interested we may end up near 10 x earnings sort of figure which is closer to 45p. We are game on for bid approach here now imvho | allesandro
17/11/2023 15:07 | xb6 that seems a fair deal at moment to be honest and i would take it ! Just seen this over on L S E "We could well be in the press over the weekend after that news from Wheaton deal - as i said before i doubt you will find a better takeover candidate out there at the moment for Gold Assets in South Africa. If Wheaton International are prepared to pay huge sums for a pre production gold asset in our backyard we should take notice. Wait till the market realizes the significance of this deal :-) " | dantee
17/11/2023 13:50 | allesandro You could say that the starting gun has been fired,a preliminary look at the Wheaton International deal tells me we have a prized set of assets being eyed and more than likely will be snapped up before long. I would accept 25p region for my fairly large holding - to give you an idea of my endgame anticipated here. | xb6
17/11/2023 12:17 | I predict this will be on many investors radar shortly after the Wheaton news gets absorbed :-) | allesandro
17/11/2023 11:52 | Love your optimism having been here 10+ years! | af004
17/11/2023 11:47 | If Wheaton International are prepared to pay those sort of prices for a pre production gold asset in south africa it makes Pan African look a juicy prize indeed for a prospective bidder. Will sure be interesting to see what happens here now ! have just topped up :-) | allesandro
17/11/2023 11:41 | If you care about PAF and the share price please send an email to the company secretary and investor relations. | justiceforthemany
17/11/2023 11:40 | 10 x forward P/E = 45p I would think a Mars like offer for Hotel Chocolat would need to be made, 40p+ CEO and Chairman hold millions of shares. Share price remains pathetic today. | justiceforthemany
17/11/2023 11:14 | dantee If a 30p per share offer came in would you accept it ? i would personally myself | xb6
17/11/2023 10:53 | Wheaton International have just bought a Pre-Production South African Gold Asset for a very tidy sum ! Makes you wonder what sort of value PAF would attract on a bid - i suggest many times its current share price | dantee
17/11/2023 10:26 | Not sure of that figure but it is way over Pan African,s current valuation, market has not seen this news yet :-) i expect a strong move up into the ex dividend date and AGM on the 30th November. | xb6
17/11/2023 10:09 | Great find XB6 So based on what Wheaton have bought here that would represent around 47p a share for Pan African equiv if a bid was made on same basis ???? | allesandro
17/11/2023 09:48 | Wait till the market picks up on this and the low PE that PAF is currently valued at ! then look at the price Wheaton payed for these assets :-) h t t p s://www.miningweekly | xb6
17/11/2023 09:40 | Some very interesting chat over at LSE regarding Takeover, has just been a deal gone through in SA by a company called Wheaton. Standby for fireworks here ! GAVSTER-NBC Today _ 08.32am "then a company called Wheaton does do a takeover of an SA gold company. Seems to be a funding agreement to finish a mine then an off-take at a ridiculously low gold price, which backs up your argument that SA miners are takeover targets" FIVECANDLES Today _ 09.15am Gavster, absolutely this is a prime takeover target IMO , like i said if one of the regional big boys offered something like 25p a share and a 3 for 10 in new shares i suspect holders here would accept it . We are being valued at just 3 x PE with low debt and healthy dividend cover :-) and what is key for TO is a simple share structure which means the "corporate and legals" can be concluded swiftly. I doubt there is a better opportunity out there at the moment in terms of Undervalued Gold Mines that could be aquired at bargain levels yet still net its shareholders a tasty windfall. | xb6

16/11/2023 20:57 | We have a PAF hater on this board guys. Don't be shy now, come on, why don't you tell us what you think? | justiceforthemany
16/11/2023 17:32 | 4.5p EPS = P/E of just THREE Scandalous. | justiceforthemany
15/11/2023 16:37 | Closed down vs JSE equivalent price yet again. | justiceforthemany
14/11/2023 13:41 | Gold soaring again. US CPI flat. | justiceforthemany
13/11/2023 17:23 | If you're a shareholder here and want the share price to rise then email Investor Relations because the share price consistently closes at a lower price than the JSE in SA. There is blatant manipulation going on here keeping the share price suppressed. Why is PAF trading at just 3-4x P/E? hhira@paf.co.za | justiceforthemany
