By the way we have a lovely big bull flag forming on the chart today so next week may be abit tasty alongside that Wheaton International news being understood.

Might see some big moves here ahead of ex divi date on 30th november

xb6 & dantee, guys your 25p estimate may not be far off the mark here but of course if more than one partie is interested we may end up near 10 x earnings sort of figure which is closer to 45p.

You could say that the starting gun has been fired,a preliminary look at the Wheaton International deal tells me we have a prized set of assets being eyed and more than likely will be snapped up before long.


I would accept 25p region for my fairly large holding - to give you an idea of my endgame anticipated here.

If Wheaton International are prepared to pay those sort of prices for a pre production gold asset in south africa it makes Pan African look a juicy prize indeed for a prospective bidder.

Will sure be interesting to see what happens here now ! have just topped up :-)

10 x forward P/E = 45p
I would think a Mars like offer for Hotel Chocolat would need to be made, 40p+
CEO and Chairman hold millions of shares.

Share price remains pathetic today.

Wheaton International have just bought a Pre-Production South African Gold Asset for a very tidy sum !

Makes you wonder what sort of value PAF would attract on a bid - i suggest many times its current share price

Not sure of that figure but it is way over Pan African,s current valuation, market has not seen this news yet :-) i expect a strong move up into the ex dividend date and AGM on the 30th November.

Wait till the market picks up on this and the low PE that PAF is currently valued at !
then look at the price Wheaton payed for these assets :-)

Some very interesting chat over at LSE regarding Takeover,has just been a deal gone through in SA by a company called Wheaton. Standby for fireworks here !

Gavster, absolutely this is a prime takeover target IMO , like i said if one of the regional big boys offered something like 25p a share and a 3 for 10 in new shares i suspect holders here would accept it . We are being valued at just 3 x PE with low debt and healthy dividend cover :-) and what is key for TO is a simple share structure which means the "corporate and legals" can be concluded swiftly.

I doubt there is a better opportunity out there at the moment in terms of Undervalued Gold Mines that could be aquired at bargain levels yet still net its shareholders a tasty windfall.

If you're a shareholder here and want the share price to rise then email Investor Relations because the share price consistently closes at a lower price than the JSE in SA. There is blatant manipulation going on here keeping the share price suppressed.
