24/2/2015 11:46 | The placing of new GLIF shares at a premium to NAV was oversubscribed. | davebowler
17/2/2015 10:02 | www.equitydevelopmen extract from above; P2P funds are another way to invest Another, albeit slightly more expensive (in our opinion) option for investing in the sector, would be to put one’s money into a fund manager such as P2P Global Investments plc (LSE: P2P). Marshall Wace runs this investment trust and charges a 1% pa commission along with a performance fee. The group typically buys P2P loans with targeted annualised returns of 5%-15% (net) across multiple platforms, asset classes, geographies and credit bands in order to achieve portfolio diversification and mitigate concentration risks | davebowler
17/2/2015 09:50 | Liberum re GLIF investments in Peer to Peer platforms; GLI Finance (NR) Platform portfolio uplift Event GLI Finance has announced a strong NAV uplift over calendar Q4, with NAV rising 5.5% to 51.0p, driven by upwards revaluations of a number of GLI's platform investments. Q4 also saw further capital deployed into three previously announced investments as follows: October: UK Bond Network, a peer to peer bond platform November: Ovamba, an African-focused alternative finance platform December: Sancus, offshore lending primarily to Channel Islands-based entrepreneurs, high net worth and SMEs. Andrew Whelan has joined the Board as Director of Lending and GLI has also applied to change its status from a closed-ended fund to a non-regulated financial services business. Additionally, a flotation of a new fund is being considered, managed by GLI and investing in a diversified pool of loans originated by GLI's lending businesses. The fund would target a high single digit yield. | davebowler

29/1/2015 13:26 | P2PC share allocation heavily scaled back according to iDealing. I got the first 100 shares in full, plus only 42% of the remaining shares subscribed for. I hadn't seen any indication of this until I actually got the shares, but may have missed it I guess. Up around 6% currently. | glynnef

27/1/2015 10:49 | Liberum; P2PGI has raised £250m in an oversubscribed C-share issue. It is expected the shares will start trading on the main market on 29 Jan 2015. This is an important milestone as the increased scale will allow the Company to: 1) attract and negotiate more favourable terms, 2) lower the cost of debt financing and 3) provide for improved cost efficiency. Separately, the December newsletter showed that the fund had deployed £16m, of which 75% was in US Consumer loans, 15% in European Consumer and 7% European SME. P2PGI has also made an additional investment in a P2P lending platform, bringing the total number of investments to five. Currently (pre-today's announcement) P2PGI trades on a p/NAV of 1.1x yielding 8.1% in 2015e. Reiterate BUY. | davebowler
27/1/2015 10:43 | P2P has just announced the offer of 'C'shares allocation rate is -first £1000 worth met in full, and then all above that scaled back to c. 40%. This explains the jump in the main class shares in my view. | davebowler
