well worth reading the 2019 vicon magazine. reckon OMG could be going a lot higher - although needs top line revenue growth to pick up imo.

From vicon Twitter.

When testing in the motion capture lab, robots are put through their paces to exacting standards. The robots need to be able to carry out minute, accurate movements, so the lab uses Vicon’s T-Series cameras, that offer the level of precise feedback that the JAEA needs.

Engineers at the Agency’s facility are using the Vicon system daily and are impressed with how easy the software is to use and the accuracy of the cameras.

Hand-in-hand with this, companies coming in to test their robotics systems in the facility come away with a highly positive experience of the ability and flexibility of the Vicon system, particularly when it comes to the Vero system on the stair set-up.

While the clean-up of the Fukushima Daichii Nuclear site is incredibly complicated, and the environment as challenging as anywhere on earth or in space, Vicon is playing a key part in supporting the JAEA and is pleased to be a part of the unique solution needed to rehabilitate the site.

From this work will come some of the most advanced robots ever seen, advances that will be felt in many types of different industries for years to come, thanks to the testing carried out at the Agency’s facility.

The sandbox VR deal is interesting as they seem to have several global sites up and running with double the amount coming. Below you can see the experience is now rated 7th out of things to do in Hong Kong.

Out with the old, in with the new. No doubt the seller's model tells them it's "overvalued". Not a clue about the goldmines that OMG sit on. In Tech you need to be ahead of the game, so models are misleading as they are always based on history. Personally, I think Yotta is a slow huge burner, but Virtual Reality is going to kick this into orbit, which is a view maybe shared by our new "friend"?

I noticed the big buying trades there’s been without any effect on the price. It seems to be in 98p limbo :)

Good buying as you point out nimbo1. It's that rather boring sell at 98 element I feel. So watch it go when the £1 barrier is cracked. 4 x 25,000 in 20 mins is a serious player accumulating.

Massive amounts of buying but there must be a big line of stock to sell from somewhere still.

Nimbo - Vicon getting a lot of well deserved (and belated) recognition but don't undervalue Yotta - 'Intelligent Cities' need mapping out (eg street lights that respond to traffic) - Yotta is at the front of this.

Thanks bbluesky. There is certainly a huge amount of investment into this area and great to see OMG at the cutting edge. As the CEO pointed out in the prelims, motion measurement is going mainstream.

I'm also excited and intrigued with the whole area of elite sports which seems to have lots of potential. The acquisition of IMeasureU fits in with this really well. In the recent issue of Vicon's The Standard the CEO says "I’m particularly excited about the imminent launch of our next generation inertial sensor that will change the game for researchers and practitioners alike".

SteveD. I don't think investors have grasped, just how big VR is going to be. The e sports market is already $900m and growing at 38% pa.The new step is combining it with VR.

Games,

Immersive theatre includes a broad spectrum of applications. Please see below link. Vicon are clearly involved.

Also noticed mention of immersive theatre on twit.

Dotdot war of the worlds due out soon.

If vicon are involved, and this genre of entertainment goes mainstream... my opinion and that's all it is, omg is very well placed to benefit greatly.

And this is speculative, plus I don't want it to happen. They could get taken over.

Yotta could potentially sustain growth, globally, for many years to come. It's come from small beginnings but the outlook reported in the annual report, together with recent news all looks promising?
