I'm surprised it's struggling cash wise. If this is the game changer it's presented as it should be a no brainer? From a personal point of view if I could avoid a DRE, a cystoscopy, an ultrasound, a CT and a biopsy until after a straightforward blood test confirms they are necessary, I think any consultant would also agree...aside the cost of a work up like this over the current £750 this test costs (before an NHS negotiated price).I'm sure this has been discussed before so apologies but I'm just trying to get my head round what else could be in play.I should detach myself from personal experience.

At the end of the day they need to turn it into money and a profitable business and thus far are failing to do that. Many companies struggle at this stage to turn promise into cash and when they are so. Loss making like obd it means they are required to raise capital at ever lower prices. In this market that resits in an share price that gets hammered and ehyvobd is struggling as everyone knows its coming.

Getting a deal with a large upfront payment at this stage is unlikely but a small one won't provide enough runeya to see a profit and so a rights issue is the most likely outcome at a big discount given the amount they are likely to require. Sad but true for many small companies atm

Over many years OBD developed an IP protected epigenetics platform. They are a world leader in this field. Sadly, although predictably, this is not reflected in how Mr Mkt currently values it - he is a brutal realist!

I came across this via personal circumstances ...so apologies for this question and if it is covered way back.Is this test just a combination of a PSA result and genetic screening? I know the two are used in the process but is the method patentable/unique or could it be done by any company with the right equipment, but OBD just happen to be the first?

I don't think anybody is ignoring the need for additional capital, that was a known. How they get it is all speculation at the moment but you keep banging the drum. It's the uncertainty that is causing PI's to sell.

If they leave it to the last minute this will tank big time m they already left it too late and look what's happening . Now be lucky to get it away for 10p . If you look back I warned about this happening and now it's in the funding spiral as everyone knows it's coming so the pressure is on the share price . Also once they go to the city whoever is providing the funds will forward sell to make their money back .
So either they have done that and that's why the price is falling or if not this could get very painful indeed once they do . Needing capital in these markets kills shareprices just look around . Ignoring the facts and burying your head in the sand won't stop what's coming

Chart is a sign they likely approached the market for a fund raise and once that happens they begin shifting/ forward selling the shares to recoup some of the funding costs . As I said longer they wait the lower it is likely to go now .

I doubt they will get any NHS contract until the UK lab is up an running end Q1-24.

I expect once that is announced any funding news will be next

They have to scale up, deal with NHS for mass market appeal.

Otherwise, going nowhere imo

There's no doubt they need funds unless sales have spiked, Oct - Jan, they have around $600k in revenue (which is less than 1 months OpEx)

As I've mentioned, their shareholder base if full of PE and Hedge Funds, they have been supportive (at a premium) in the past no reason they wouldn't be now.

Orbit could keep getting sold into ahead of the placing . Sorry guys your ignoring the facts here and seeing only what you want to see . From the outside looking in a placing at a discount is almost a certainty as they have little time left before money is required . That pretty much rules out any deal being some as nowhere near enough time unless they are already months into it . Plus they don't always end up getting signed or delayed longer .
That would then leave them in a position of desperation and having to take a very discounted fund raise at the last minute .
At the end of the day they need money and that rarely ends well for shareholders ,the longer they leave it the worse this is likely to be .

Good luck but don't let the fact your holding shares distract you from the facts . 15p coming and if no announcement on funding soon likely a 10p placing then .will look back in a few months and see who was right
