Every commodity explorer, has a lengthy time scale and needs cash along the way to completion of course.
OMI Is no different.
What's good about OMI is that it is no longer on the back foot now this has happened.

That paves the way to drilling and assessment.
Most exploration companies rely on interest from bigger companies who are on the look out for fresh discoveries and will snap them up.

I was in GGP when it was 2p and it went upto 30 in the end I think.
Being honest I left the party at 20 or something...can't remember and now it's back down again.
When it went down again I bought some afresh.
Get out when it's high is often the answer.

I would agree, though, that the producers rise first.

Rather untrue in my experience.

Again I will respond to the sentiment, worse if you spend your pre retirement 24/7 here.

Fandango, defining ok is hard when it comes to Hazl. She is a strange one. Cannot see why she would spend her retirement glued to ADVFN

Hazl no one is picking on you. People are just calling out your ramping. If you put forward an honest assessment of omi, no one would say anything

Can someone check on Hazl? It's 8.45am and she has not posted yet. Ordinarily she is glued to these boards. I hope I do not spend my retirement like that lolololol

Just the brain donors in the bust camp making nonsensical comments for now. Say no more.

Anyone with two brain cells can see that omi desperately need money to kick off the drilling campaign and fund overheads. My bet is that the placing will be at 2p, perhaps 1.8p. Hazl no doubt will continue ramping lol

Hazl is awfully quiet this morning. She is a prolific poster of one liners lol

Senility could also be holding from well in to double figures from years ago, then still flogging the dead horse that "this is a great investment" in your dotage whilst the price is 90% down.

Anyway. Gold or bust now. From the Webinar we won't know which way it's heading for a few weeks at best with the final outcome next spring. Anything for now is just a yawn. Will check back in next month sometime. Better things to for now.

Senility could also be associated with those who through necessity sold at a loss and then hang around hoping to see if their poor trading can be justified.

I retract my post re being harsh saddo. Senility is probably more associated with low life non invested trolls who clutter up what could be decent BBs. Who am I reminded of FF, Bogoff and you. I still suspect you are not separate trolls :-/

Oh dear. Brad just tweeted about how hard it is to raise finance currently. Is he preparing the market for a humdinger of a capital raise at a knock down discounted price?

Hazl, do you not have anything further to say apart from 'yawn'. My question to you is, how will omi fund drilling in Columbia and Argentina and nigeria without massive dilution or a partner coming on board?

Overdale, remind me again how long you've been here? And you still see "a strong company"? Really?Senility is a cruel disease.

Louie spoke of courting institutional investors. They may fund omi but will want their pound of flesh at the expense of existing shareholders. If omi issue 250m new shares at 2p that will raise £5m which should be enough.
