It looks like everything has come to a grinding halt at OMI. Brad's premature (as always) with his "pens poised" quote it looks highly unlikely that anything will be sorted by July so his begging bowl trip to the mining conference in early July will have to be done at a greatly reduced share price Just when you thought everything had changed at OMI !

'Gold prices trying to hold the line at $2,350 as Federal Reserve leaves rates unchanged signals one rate cuts this year'
Kitco.

Enthusiasm softened slightly.

Gold taking off again!

'
Kitco News) - Gold and silver prices are solidly higher in midday U.S. trading Wednesday, following a U.S. inflation report that came in tame and in turn sunk the U.S. dollar index and U.S. Treasury yields. Now, precious metals trades are bracing for this afternoon’s FOMC meeting conclusion. August gold was last up $25.00 at $2,351.80. July silver was last up $0.974 at $30.21.

The U.S. consumer price index report for May, out Wednesday morning, came in at unchanged, month-on-month and up 3.3%, year-on-year. Monthly CPI was seen up 0.1% and up 3.4%, annually. The core CPI (excluding food and energy) for May was up 0.2%, month-on-month and up 3.4%, annually. Both core numbers were also slightly lower than expected. This CPI report falls into the camp of the U.S. monetary policy doves, who want to see the Federal Reserve cut interest rates sooner rather than later.

The benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note yield is presently at 4.256%--well down from the 4.40 reading just before the CPI print.

The project is located 50km west of Medellin and is easily accessible by all-weather roads and boasts excellent infrastructure including water, power, communications and large exploration camp.

The Anzá Project is subject to an Exploration Agreement with Venture Option dated September 7th, 2018, as announced on September 10th, 2018, between Orosur's 100% subsidiary Minera Anzá S.A ("Minera Anzá") and Minera Monte Águila SAS ("Monte Águila"), a 50/50 joint venture between Newmont Corporation ("Newmont") and Agnico Eagle Mines Limited ("Agnico").

'Post signing the Agreement, the Company immediately began the process of geological mapping and geochemical sampling across the licence package. This process is now largely complete, and data collected have supported the Company's initial view of the Project's prospectivity. It is now planned to move to the next phase of direct targeting. Environmental permits have been submitted which would allow for drilling by the year end.'

This is very much at a good time for silver and gold I think.

Guess I am optimistic and think boom more likely than bust before too long but, you know, crystal ball, lottery and all that. Good luck Lth.

Ever the optimist, Overdale, you completely missed the bit about Anza and the continued delays. Still overpriced here but if you bought in at sub 2p it's worth riding the rollercoaster for a while longer I guess. Brad and the BOD need their hard earned cash so another placing must be due sometime soon.

Gold wavering seems to be halted, trying to make up it's losses for the day.
Be interesting to see what happens next.

A good start.

Gold has had a tremendous run and many people seem to think it will continue to rise.
It is likely to go up and down in a band within a range, but it looks to me that the gold stocks are at last getting a bit of admiration.

No guarantees as ever.
Dependent on the political and economic environment as well, of course.
