Orosur Mining Inc - Colombia update



· Assays from four additional holes

· High grade gold intersections - 21.6m @ 6.02g/t Au, 12.25m @ 5.39g/t Au and 4.35m @ 2.53g/t Au.

· Polymetallic nature confirmed with high grade Zinc intersection of 19.85m @ 6.46% Zn and 21.60m @ 3.23%Zn, with minor Copper up to 0.8%.

· 4th rig to mobilise



London, February 22nd, 2021. Orosur Mining Inc. ("Orosur" or the "Company") (TSX/AIM:OMI), is pleased to announce an update on the progress of Minera Anzá's drilling campaign currently underway at the Company's Anzá project in Colombia.

Results of further four holes.

Diamond drill holes MAP-073, 074, 075 and 076 were completed during December 2020 and January 2021, with the holes positioned largely to address geological questions that were left unanswered from older drilling campaigns by previous companies.



Over 18,000m was drilled by Waymar Resources prior to it becoming part of Orosur in late 2014. Subsequent work by Orosur determined that much of this older drilling was oriented down dip, and while these holes often returned superficially attractive assay results, they did not provide sufficiently reliable geological information to fully understand the nature of the mineralisation and to allow accurate targeting and efficient expansion drilling.



As a result, much of the Company's initial 2,300m drill program currently underway, was designed to answer several outstanding orientation and structural questions and to provide insight into the style of mineralisation, with a focus on the potential for a hybrid polymetallic VMS/Epithermal model.



These four holes were drilled on three sections, and returned attractive gold intersections, assisted in addressing key structural questions, and returned wide intersections of high-grade Zinc that added weight to the polymetallic VMS model. Key intersections include (full intercepts are detailed in table 1):





MAP-073 21.60m @ 6.02g/t Au, 6.02g/t Ag and 3.23 %Zn from 271.75m

MAP-074 5.20m @ 1.17g/t Au 4.97g/t Ag and 3.02% Zn from 195.40m

MAP-075 19.85m @ 0.90g/t Au 2.17 g/t Ag and 6.46% Zn from 226.15m

MAP-076 12.25m @ 5.39g/t Au, 1.65 g/t Ag and 0.18 % Zn from 228.65m

Agree - its that long road and everything that happened inbetween that prepares a company to see the maturity of its assets. The long hard slog is done. Now, OMI is at the start of this maturity phase where active exploration is about to realise huge asset and shareholder value - which longterm shareholders have waited an age for.

Thanks for the sympathy and kind words guys. Still kicking myself but I have only burnt my fingers a little and won't do it again. OMI is a much stronger company today, even before the currently awaited positive news, than back in 2012/13 when it touched 97p. Gla.

i sold a few in the twenties to diworseify into a few other micro cap explorers.

not selling any more as i really think the omi share price will start with a £ sign with patience.

thats without gold and silver taking another big hike in price like last summer.

If they have massive sulphides and gold at Apta, well, keep hold of what you have. This is going much higher should that be confirmed. Plus they are expanding and accelerating drilling programme. Which means a steady stream of newflow.

I had also pretty much written these off but now more than happy to sit and watch the fireworks.....unless you are either very lucky or an absolute TA expert, it is imo hard to Trade something like this because you just don't know what is around the corner and depending on an RNS, the best TA can go out the window in an instant

Overdale123, don't beat yourself up too much! I have an overhang here from many years back that were bottom drawed and forgotten as a bad call. I can now see these going way, way higher so not all bad if you still got back in at 38p

It will spike again soon, not like these rises, but a big one and that may give an opportunity to trade a few in and out, I was lucky enough to hit the spike to 42.64p and sold 100k, then went on to buy them all back a couple of weeks later at 34p only to watch them drop back to 24p, I didn't feel to smart then either, but not complaining now!!

This is looking like it wants to go much higher. But so many small buys/sells for a few hundred £ is that all retail or is somebody hovering up in tiny bites for a bigger position?

The results will be good Newmont experts have already taken the decision to accelerate operations and increase rig numbers. Preparations are underway to further expand access routes. We just want to know how good it is with official assays.
