It is impossible to know what the hell is going on now...

Were the Fed in panic mode that the $Dollar was facing an accelerated collapse mode,or are they simply so short of Physical Gold that the shorts and derivatives have to be bailed out in Paper Gold ?.

The only way would be to force some Gold out of the ETFs.

Considering they pulled the plug 3 times on the NYSE yesterday to stop a freefall those holding $Billions in the US Markets should be very concerned.
Now NATO all but declares War against Russia !!

Will the Fed force themselves into another corner of raising rates whilst the Economy borders recession- if not already in recession.

Another period of we will - we wont- or We forced ourselves into a corner ?

I guess more utter carnage ahead for paper Currencies, which at some point more
and more are going to flee- one way or another.

Scary!!

Bored with Life..Want to end it but cannot face doing it yourself.....

Maybe the simplest way is to buy $1 Billion of Paper Gold and then demand delivery.

We read that someone bought $1 Billion paper Gold.

Was it some/someone in the know or just shorts closing.

All good fun in the Fed`s Casinos.

The infinitive Chicken & Egg.

Get OMI stock to a solid 40p,and they wont be giving anything away (maybe)

We are looking at outright War of Paper Gold against Physical,so unless
the Gangsters can come up with an ETF draining Nuke they know that at some point it will hardly matter if they push Paper Gold to beyond 500-1.

Somewhat laughable - that if all the Margined players quit the Gold price betting Comex Casino of no Gold delivery demanded or offered- then who would the Gangsters have to slaughter to close out their shorts ?

I would merely suspect that the Chinese do not want Gold soaring in the shorter term as whilst they paid up to $1900 for their hidden reserves, they know that
beyond $1300 there could be an ugly fight for Physical that would make it harder for them to get what they want.

Smoke & mirrors !?- until the Russians,Chinese, etc have gorged til full !!?

Who truly knows in these Casino times of Central Planners buying the stock Markets and an Army of Robot traders along with the too big to Fail.

How much capex would be needed to get a small mine going at Anza? I Would hate to see OMI give away too much to a potential partner.

I think they are finding it difficult to hold gold back at the moment.

In the words of Mr Gold... when Gold is finally firmly back in its up cycle,it could be the rally We never sell.

When that happens then OMI only need to convince investors that they will be around with producable Gold beyond $1900.

All Managements need some luck -or created luck,so if OMI can bring the Waymar assets to the fore when sentiment is far better, then any repeats of the high grade gold results could re-rate OMI far beyond what is imaginable.

That could be on top of a re-rate from aburdity of a Micro cap that is producing the only real Money around.

If Gold & Silver stocks become the next Dot-Coms in a couple of years time
then at least it will be based on something tangible unlike the Baltimores
of the past.

Personally I hope OMI Management stick to their cautious approach
and just make good effect from current production until the time is undoubtedly
right - as there is no hurry when We may all be clamouring for Gold to be produced beyond $1900.

Those that were investors when the Dot-Com era was in full swing will know what I mean as to what "could" happen.

That`s the attraction of destroyed Gold & Silver stocks.

Risk/reward and safety in numbers,as I hope to be holding OMI for a value
somewhat far beyond 80p.

I daresay we will have better judgement of Management`s foresight and clues
to the future within the next 7 months

hazl, this is not a Flag, but a Rounding Bottom.
Target is around 16.45.
The concurrent, longer term Falling Wedge, has an upper trendline at approx 13.75. This could provide some resistance on the way to the target.

hazl.

I will vote for EXIT.

There will be pain either way no doubt, yet it will force the UK
to do what is right and focus on what we are good at and which real trading
Partners we need to concentrate on.

I never saw any future in a Barter scheme that tends to always Barter us to disadvantge and then receive the Bills for total Brussels incompetence whilst they also create the Black Holes that have no accounting for.

Try telling Inland Revenue you cannot account for Black Holes !!! yet we accept
Billions of Euros that disappear every single year to Euro Elite Cronies and their Frauds -without any accounting, any answers...do not ask !!!

The nonsense of exporting 10 Lambs and importing 15 Lambs (etc)doesn`t hold Water for Me.

After the pain we will be free of all the baggage and can watch the Carnage to
come that we escaped from - truly Govern ourselves- our borders-our rules-our Children`s future.

I never thought I would say it-yet America views us as an enemy as they do everyone in their warped Dead Hands of World hedgemony, and they only want us in Europe because they consider us their faithful stupid Lap Dog to support things like declaring illegal Wars on other Sovereign states and using NATO to
force Russia into confrontation to hide their gross ineptitude and multi-year
debt printing- (non) economy.

There will be a US to support one day in the future, yet only when their downtroddden Citizens rid themselves of the Elite that are killing
them, their economy, and what the US once stood for (many many years ago).

Hazl.

I follow many with Opinions that I consider worthy, especially real money men
that that put their Money into Gold.

I read Jim Rickards` book, and he certainly is a Man worth following-head and shoulders above most that profess to be knowledgeable,

I also subscribe to Mr Maguire who has years of experience in the actual Physical Gold game - as that is important.

Nobody truly knows when the point comes that we lose all faith in a currency,
as ironically all the World`s major currencies are backed by catastrophic debt,
so where are the assets to support the IOUs ? as our Bank Manager would ask !!

Coincidentally KWN flagged up the reminder - that trust of a paper currency is
all there is......

"As sovereign nations, led by de Gaulle in France, refused to accept the weakening dollar as payment from the US and instead demanded gold"

The petrodollar has since kept us as slaves to the US debt addiction and bodybag
economy, whilst History shows us that at the death knell of such self elected
World enforcers.... it is War !!!!

I believe in Gold at this point, and would be more than eccstatic for it to
settle in the higher 1200 range, and moreso at $1400,yet beyond that I now wonder
if what I wish for brings on something I do not.

I stated that I have switched most of my Physical vaulted Gold for Physical Silver and on a 10 year or more view that at some point will become all Gold.

That`s hopefully "the return of my Money"and I believe a large return on my Money whereas my Gold stocks are about the risk/reward of bigger returns.

We have to hope the timing is now right or very close to right -for the Gold stocks

It is all opinion until-that useless hindsight tells us when the time "was"
right.

I have followed Gold with a vengeance particularly since circa 1998
The Barborous relic !!

Currency remains just a form of Bartering ie 1 Pig for 2 Lambs,1 Lamb for
for a cwt of Potatoes or a scythe & boots, and if you dont have a Pig or Lamb
to barter with then- a fistful of Paper equivalents,an IOU or Gold.

No doubt in Venezuela,at this point, many would rather be paid in food instead
of paper tokens.

In Weimar Germany you certainly didn`t really want a barrow full of Marcs, just the bag of Potatoes it would buy that day before it became half a bag, whilst the value of Gold soared as the barrow full of Marcs became ,multiple barrow loads.

Little doubt the bartering value of Pigs for Lambs or Oil for Weapons has
changed many times, yet we certainly know that paper currencies have lost
considerable value in barterability, even gone to zero, whereas Pigs,Lambs,
Carrots still have real value along with the 5000 year plus of Gold as Money.

In real terms-the Dollar is getting close to zero, and a simple reminder is that
1 ounce of Gold buys nearly 6 times more $Dollars than in circa 1998.

Is it any wonder that the Central Planners have fought back with such blatant Fraud and Manipulation to stop Joe Bloggs understanding that equation !!?

We have to pray the US don`t create a situation whereby the only sought after
bartering currency will be Food & Water, and the only true Money would be Gold.

I am hoping Trump for President,as just maybe He will stop the US threatening
Nuclear War.

Hindsight is a wonderous event, yet of no use,

I know now that the 1 stock that would have preserved all my Capital and set me
up for the next Gold run was Franco Nevada.

Ordinarily I would never consider putting all my Capital in one stock, and the glory of hindsight that I could have put all my Capital into Franco Nevada makes me cringe in lack of foresight-which is currently confirmed by hindsight.
