(weekly chart)

Big breakout on volume away from that major 8p resistance line has been holding it back for ages.

first target 13p then 16p.

breakaway from a big resistance level that has been holding OMI below 8p for ages.

Can see 15p over the next few weeks easy.

Video interview with Ignacio Salazar

South America-focused gold producer Orosur Mining Inc (LON:OMI, TSE:OMI) has bounced back into the black with a profit before tax of US$3.1mln in the three months to 29 February, 2016, despite sales slipping.
Ignacio Salazar, chief executive, says key to this has been the company’s reduction in costs, which the firm has been working on for three years, but stepped up last July as the gold price was slumping.
On the gold price, he says “the average gold price we realised in the quarter was US$1,143 so clearly below the levels we have seen recently which are about the US$1,200 per ounce mark – so it is helping but it does not mean we will change our strategy from the last few months”.

Deutsche Bank Confirms Silver Market Manipulation In Legal Settlement, Agrees To Expose Other Banks
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/14/2016

In a curious twist, the settlement letter reveals a stunning development, namely that the former members of the manipulation cartel have turned on each other. To wit:

“In addition to valuable monetary consideration, Deutsche Bank has also agreed to provide cooperation to plaintiffs, including the production of instant messages, and other electronic communications, as part of the settlement. In Plaintiff’s estimation, the cooperation to be provided by Deutsche Bank will substantially assist Plaintiffs in the prosecution of their claims against the non-settling defendants.”

Separately.
The past is the past.It went down because the gold sector fell out of favour. It came back in favour and I am afraid some people may have been left behind.Least ways that's the way I'm looking at it.
It rests on Interest rates,in my opinion.
Tomorrow may be interesting with China data expected.

Even though it might not seem like it, it is the highest volume day in years.

Says it all really, once the news traders have cleared the chart is setting up for a big break imo

@august

you are feeding your ego and making out you are some kind of guru, producers track gold (some more than others) and you could see gold was entering a bear market (well maybe not you as you didnt even notice gold was in a bear market for 5 years)

Doesnt take a genius to work out when OMI was 40p that it was going to crash with gold.

but now look at the cap and what they are achieving and with gold rising, I dont think it will be long before this hits 15-20p.

Not waste, rather prudence, waiting for better prices before selling would be the best strategy,in my opinion.
Be interesting to know what the management think of your posts.
