Just an observation - when gold started its rally at the beginning of the year a jump from $1060 to $1110 saw the share price in OMI go from 5.75p to 8.25p then we had a big dip when Barondaytrading sold all his shares (thanks btw picked up some cheap)....so it seems with gold now at $1200+ OMI is lagging hugely behind gold and due a large correction. Multibagger in the making with gold bull run starting.

Current mcap of around £6mil what do you guys think a realistic valuaiton is for OMI with spot gold around $1300 and AISC below $1000?

The largest number of contracts in Fools Gold for years at circa 300,000 +

JP Morgan creating endless short contracts to save some shorts from meeting
the grim reaper.

Canadian Silver producers should ask why Scotiabank entered the Silver Fraud
around 2012 as Gofer for JP Morgan, who in turn have illegally skimmed off
Millions of ounces of Silver to their own account.

I tend to suspect that the Dutch Gold has now disappeared into this final countdown of Physical versus worthless Paper.

Take down Scotiabank and it`s game over in the Silver Fraud.

Suspect 3rd quarter results will be meh but 4th quarter should be much improved if gold holds these gains. And then there's the 31% move in the peso/usd exchange rate from 1 year ago.

Also indices still holding their gains so people are not panicing yet, once they start to drop again more money will come into gold

When Moron sold Uk Gold in the most public Gold auction in History,He was tearfully looking down the Barrels of a 12 Bore,as He knew what was coming and the consequences.

He knew it was game over- but then Did He also know that Gold was not even
"our Gold" as I believe He borrowed it from the Saudis to fill another Black Hole in the Gold Fraud.

We certainly know who had to be saved from their Gold positions at that time.

Now Canada faces its Potless and assetless moment as they sold off the
once healthy asset of 1000 tonnes to Zero, and in the same words as Moron-

"We will invest in something else"- (that will no doubt head towards zero real worth.)

God Help Canada and all those in the West that swapped ther Gold for debt and
potentially worthless "currency"

Maybe some still don`t realise they will never get their leased Gold back,.as their vaults merely contain paper IOU`s for leased Gold.whilst they fraudulently still account for Physical Holdings.

It has gone !!!

IMHO.

'Lurking in the construction numbers though was bad news as well as good. Total spending rose 1.5% in January to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.14 trillion from an upwardly revised estimate of $1.12 trillion in December. Construction spending is now up more than 10% relative to a year earlier. Finally, public spending jumped 4.5% during the month, while private spending grew a modest 1/2 percent because of declining residential outlays.'

from kitco rhuv

and also they say gold is functioning as much more than a afe haven, which I believ as well.

Apologies OT

Richgit you used to be in OVG looking back.
Do you feel that they suffered just like gold miners have generally, across the board or do you feel management were to blame?
We're having a 'discussion' over there and I'm trying to get to the truth of the matter.
I think we have a rather verbal dis-enchanted bull but I think it pays to be broad-minded.
I have only just got to know OVG and so far I like what I see. Most miners have had a hard time OMI as well,it was the climate at the time and some are lucky to have survived.
Comments welcome.
