Posted at 29/10/2024 19:30 by adi27 From what I can work out the Lanstead deal is good from the point of view of money coming into the company each month, which keeps us in a reasonable financial position. On the flip side it's the complete opposite for the share price with low volume, and zero interest from investors when no news as they know a relentless seller is on board. Yes, it works out at around 2m shares a day but you only have to look at the share price to see the effects. The board are positive about this situation, so until proven otherwise I'm sticking with their judgement, although with other AIM shares I've been caught out! |
Posted at 30/8/2024 12:52 by luckyabbeygale I am now being quoted 0.273p for 26 grands worth. I wonder if there has been a transaction that has taken place between lanstead to another investor behind the scenes. It seems weird how we often end up on the bid on days where there has been more sells. Just like the day when we ended up 0.005p on more 18 million sells compared to 2 million buys. |
Posted at 28/8/2024 08:49 by adi27 Makes you wonder what they know. Or is it investors putting their money elsewhere as the imminent news, doesn't look so imminent. Hopefully patience will pay off. |

Posted at 17/5/2024 14:27 by goldenshread Looks like some serious news must be inbound, the shares traded above .50p recently, a stock like this could easily multi-bag, it looks like their large discoveries in Cameroon are starting to focus investors minds. The former CEO suggested the gold trend in Cameroon could be an equal to that in Tanzania, just think about that for a moment and what it could to to the current £13m m/cap. No wonder buyers are coming back. |
Posted at 16/5/2024 14:55 by aussiebeach What price would you put on a new gold discovery the equivalent to the scale of Tanzania, it looks like that is what ORR could be sitting on.This could deliver GGP type gains for those who are fortunate to be holding, those gains made millionaires out of some retail investors. Current m/cap a mere £12m here. |
Posted at 16/5/2024 13:03 by observer007 Something is brewing here with increasing volume, there is a rumour they are considering buying out the Lanstead shares, possibly passing them to a fund or consortium of investors. It is a rumour of course but the new CEO hinted at some corporate activity, if that is the case the shares will fly higher. |
Posted at 24/4/2024 09:13 by adi27 Lanstead selling into a hint of good news putting investors off imo |
Posted at 02/4/2024 14:54 by aussiebeach The liquidity drought on AIM is obvious, investors in this sector are so battered and bruised they cannot tell the wood from the trees, had gold been at this level back in the good old days of 2019 ORR would probably have been valued north of £50m instead of the current £10m.This company has transformed possibly into the next GGP, from 1p to 35p, however due to the 'current climate' investors stay away not helped by chronic manipulation of the markets by brokers, market makers etc. A tip, if it is hard to buy a stock it means it is a good one, it has been hard to buy ORR in any material size for some months ! |
Posted at 13/3/2024 19:19 by adi27 60 percent of your inheritance gone and you don't mind the Lanstead deal. It's not only their selling, it's the fact it puts off other investors. |
