15/8/2014 12:33 | Very quiet here? | ![]() zcaprd7
27/6/2014 08:22 | Topped a little today... | ![]() zcaprd7
25/6/2014 09:36 | Spearpoint bought a load of these for me. Along with Ncondezi, Petropavlovsk, Invista European Real Estate and a number of other totally obscure but badly performing investments. I imagine the compliance team at Brooks Macdonald are wondering exactly why private clients with a cautious mandate have ended up holding convertible shares in something like Origo. | ![]() mad foetus
25/6/2014 09:31 | Seems to me the recent announcements are good news for the share price The company and Brooks MacDonald are both developing proposals for realisation of the company's assets, so the focus is going to be on the realisable value of the assets. As a large part of the big discount to NAV must be due to uncertainty over the value and realisability of the company's assets, a reduction in that uncertainty, even at the price of further reductions in book NAV, will probably be a good thing. Here's hoping anyway, seeing as I've been in at this price for year now waiting for something to change. | ![]() robards
24/6/2014 18:55 | Some good news out of China over the last few days... | ![]() zcaprd7
24/6/2014 08:23 | If Brooks want to run the company and wind down the assets, then they can bid for it can't they? | ![]() zcaprd7
21/6/2014 18:30 | Yes, I think this is a very poorly run company. I would think that Brooks Macdonald are the good guys and these are the bad guys. The company is not really run for the benefit of shareholders...bewar | ![]() topvest

17/6/2014 20:41 | At the moment have noting in them-have had in the past zeros(which I sold sometime ago) and the ords. Good that they readjusted their holding in Gobi Coal and Energy-but I wonder if it is still too high and note that there has been no change to Gobi's website in the last two years. Rather spooky that their NAV went down in the first three months of this year from .39 to .33US$ despite no portfolio revaluations. Will not be buying in at this time but will continue to keep an eye out for them...big picture they are onto a good thing with China clean tech. | ![]() cerrito
17/6/2014 20:30 | True...need to stop (slow) trend though | foxx999
17/6/2014 19:42 | Still a big discount to Nav though... | ![]() zcaprd7
17/6/2014 08:43 | NAV down 21% last year, and another 15% in the first THREE months of this year...Surprised it's not getting hammered...If that trend continues it won't be trading at a discount by year end..... | foxx999
17/6/2014 08:06 | Should we get excited ? | asph
08/6/2014 10:34 | Very quiet? Still expect then to come good. Originally invested because my other holding ecofin invested. They can pick them (see lonestar resources) so I'm sure they saw something here... | ![]() zcaprd7
28/3/2014 20:18 | Should I now let this news trigger a purchase ---and join other shareholders ? who are still no wiser | asph
28/3/2014 16:52 | Looks like good news. I have been picking this stock up on the cheap for months before the market wakens up to its potential. :-) Good luck all. | ![]() iankn73
26/2/2014 22:32 | They hold unquoted illiquid holdings. Only get audited every 2 years, so who knows real Nav. But, I topped up yesterday as it's a cheap way to buy Chinese exposure... | ![]() zcaprd7
26/2/2014 22:15 | Thanks Foxx | mypension
26/2/2014 21:56 | Mypension, I think as it's been recently trending one way (today was exception). Don't seem to do a great job at adding value, and overheads have been high.Maybe they'll knock it on the head soon and return cash to shareholders.... | foxx999
26/2/2014 13:00 | see rns of today. I see the nav is 23p and yet share price is only 7p Can anyone explain why? THanks in advance | mypension
24/2/2014 14:07 | Something brewing here... | ![]() zcaprd7
24/2/2014 12:19 | Sold out a couple of months back as I needed to realize some losses but keep an eye on this. The way I read this statement is that this fund now approaching its third year of existance still has to make an investment so no wonder that Ecofin wanted out and prompts the question as to what OPP management are up to. | ![]() cerrito
28/1/2014 00:40 | Very quiet... | ![]() zcaprd7 |
