24/1/2017 13:33 | Scotty, oh what might have been!!! Hopefully, you will make a fair few quid in OPTI. | ![]() rafboy
24/1/2017 13:28 | "I have had some great successes" My worst failure 300k loq @ 5p sold at around 7p = 6k profit 2/3 yrs later trades at £8 now trading at £15 Still have it on my monitor (ACSO now),i like to suffer :) you do the maths or math Nice turnaround on OPTI could finish blue ;) | ![]() scotty1
24/1/2017 13:14 | Why Parob? They set a stop they were happy with, which suggests they are not invested, but trading. I'm invested for the long haul, which is why all my paid up shares are tucked away in ISA's. Ref 80p, I would be surprised if we had to have several runs at it before breaching it, but what do I know, I don't concern myself with TA in these situations. That said, I fully expect 80p to be left well behind come spring as I expect we will all have a spring in our step and perhaps wonder why we didn't commit more funds. Is OPTI as close to a sure bet on AIM as you could wish for? Never in 33 years have I been so confident in such a small company and I have had some great successes. | elrico
24/1/2017 12:37 | A blue finish after an intra-day reversal would bode very well for tomorrow when we can have another attempt at cracking 80p - third time lucky!Feel sorry for all those punters who were stopped out under 76p this morning. They are going to be gutted. | ![]() parob
24/1/2017 12:34 | blue finish today - nothing's changed, they still need YOUR shares. Where else are they gonna get 'em | ![]() whl2
24/1/2017 11:25 | IMHO MM dropped it because todays news is not what PI's are expecting, though the news will be significant in the longer term, until then, we are back to a predictable pattern; marked down on expected news days when we get PR type news and up on speculation/expectat It is all good fun for the accumulators. | elrico
24/1/2017 11:23 | 100K sell? Jim Laird's last tranche? | portrush
24/1/2017 11:21 | Well, it's done exactly as I predicted a few days ago. Risen to 81-82p, then fallen back to about 76p. Classic pullback after hitting a longer term trend line. Expect it to stabilise here then punch through this trendline and 80p after a few days of consolidation. | ![]() lodger
24/1/2017 10:53 | Finncap starting to earn their corn....just need them to behave as MM and get off the offer; Broker note next. | elrico
24/1/2017 10:43 | parob, Hopefully. Although no share ever goes up in a straight line | ![]() judijudi
24/1/2017 10:38 | JJ, I think we will recover today and end the day blue. | ![]() parob
24/1/2017 10:37 | Now that would be worth knowing! | joyjoy13
24/1/2017 10:35 | I wonder if finnCap have issued a target price? | ![]() parob
24/1/2017 10:33 | Parob You beat me to it.. Re : City broker finnCap has a good gut feeling about OptiBiotix Health PLC I like this sentence We're now lower risk entry point... “[It is] a lower-risk entry into the microbiome space compared with pharma plays with higher regulatory and development risk profiles...." This will get more new investors on board as we were always considered high risk... Just my thoughts on the matter Good luck all | joyjoy13

24/1/2017 09:46 | Yes Someuwin, "cancers" - and now add "stress". Scientists in that APC Microbiome Institute in Cork, "a lab that for years has made important discoveries about how microbes in your gut can influence your health"(to-day's Irish Times). "We are quite excited this may be a dietary way to deal with stress and anxiety in the future" said Prof Cryan who led the recent study. The list grows - as of course does the list of OPTI platforms and opportunities. | owenmo
24/1/2017 09:44 | You could think it might be false retrace due to the relatively low volume of sells they've dropped it on...given a 200k sell on Friday didn't budge it, on the surface it looks like they might be fishing and taking out a few stops. But I've no idea really and don't care, I loaded up at 66 and am just waiting patiently. | portrush
24/1/2017 09:41 | I think we are seeing a future major company being put together here at OPTI. Today's rns may prove to be a very significant one that will be of great interest to pharmas. I now feel that once Skinbiotix has been demerged the company may be the subject of a bid. OPTI is positioning itself to be at the head of the microbiome world and will attract more and more interest as new products etc come on line. This could lead to OPTI making small inroads into the profits of some large pharmas and this alone will make them look at our company. Very excited for the future of OPTI. | ![]() rafboy
