IMHO we do have deals signed. The strategic update made it quite clear to me SOH was hopeful there would be cardiovascular products on the shelves by spring. This suggests to me a deal has been done put not disclosed because the JV party wants it hush until products are on the shelves or as close as dam it. I am hopeful Soh said spring to give him wriggle room and we may get a surprise with early launch. It's the launch I expect P&G to be named as one of the MNs.

It seems to me there are a number of ducks to be lined up before the march to the duck pond. I know it's a stretch....but let's for a minute assume I not talking nonsense;

OPTI sign commercial JV deal with MN
Product scope agreement - including market
Royalties/profit share financials - whatever need to be agreed
Production agreement and facility partners
Production volume
Retail market
Retail outlet strategy
Logistics

There's quite a lot to get ironed out and that's assuming I haven't missed any key points out in the system, which I suspect I have. All this takes time...throw in lawyers. Given the above is somewhere near correct, we must assume it's a done deal IF as SOH suggested, spring 2017 he expects MULTIPLE products to be one the shelves.

To be fair, SOH is not going to say they already have money-making deals to a PI when nothing has been officially announced. And he's also not going to say when to expect deals. They could come at any time.

'i am confident we will have deals': taken at face value, this suggests we do not yet have any real money making deals at yet, and it doesn't suggest anything is imminent.

For those risking selling for Christmas funds, I would suggest more patience.

So, yesterday's talk of a possible inverted head and shoulders was premature!

Now the best we can hope for is a potential double bottom, with today's low, at 60.00p, coming in 0.25p lower than the 26th October low. To be a bona fide double bottom we need to break 74.15p.

For now, the downtrend continues...somebody has knocked my glass over!¬(

Apart from the material news he expects, TW also says the price has drifted as people are getting bored of waiting for news.I wonder if SOH can offer a lovely piece of Christmas cheer news over the next couple of weeks. I've said it before but the right news and we could reverse the months and months of decline in a day.

Unfortunately the spike lower today has put in a new low for the downtrend. Some buyers moved in but that has now stopped. share price is certainly at an inflection point and needs news to halt the continued slide and reverse the 12 month downtrend. Volume so far today wouldn't signal a reversal. The stock has been very weak for months. Fingers crossed for trend changing news very soon.
