Sweetbottix Update Jan 2024 RNS
‘ Manufacturing scale up with Firmenich slowed during and after their merger with DSM, as anticipated, but resumed in late autumn 2023 as Firmenich moved manufacturing scale up from its contract manufacturer to DSM's in-house manufacturing facilities.‘
…..’ Given recent progress, the Company's focus has moved on from manufacturing scale up to engaging with commercial partners to launch products. Discussions are ongoing but are likely to involve a phased introduction….’

June 2024+RNS
‘ Second generation products (SweetBiotix and MicroBiome Modulators/Synbiotics)
As with any step change innovation this has been a long and difficult path with significant challenges, particularly on scale up, ’

Scale up for what? Where are the customers ?

Are OPTI's products unique or is it true as I've heard that there are dozens of such similar companies? The only thing different is that OPTI is a listed entity?

Could that system be inadvertently misused tho?
Eg.
A Factor loves what they see and invests in an AIM company, and is given shares and options….
Virtual overseas customer raises order.
AIM company sends virtual products and an invoice to virtual customer
The Factor pays the invoice to AIM company for the overseas order
SP rockets on news and financial update.
Virtual customer inadvertently fails to pay back Factor
Factor forced to sell shares and options at a massive profit
Sp crashes.
Everyone’s a winner.
Oh hang on

?

'Infklormal chats' are an important part of the process

Shocking you don't have to declare a format used that the books don't have to show

Reverse factoring has awful consequences for investors . Not just making a business look like it has business that it doesn't. But it can mask some serious debt as well until a pyramid scheme is over . In fact it can do many other things. And accounting standards on AIM make it all even easier to dress

Awful

I've looked at some examples

Buyer orders...

Supplier claims to fulfill order

Raises invoice

Buyer has revese factoring. Supper gets paid direct from financier . Most likely pays the money owed to financier. You have the invoice. Supplier has the cash. No product created at all

That legal?
