Mr OH is far more savvy than all of us. He will be well aware of any potential pitfalls with all the deals he is making with whatever company in whatever country. Tata are building a big facility to manu Opti products. That’s a huge commitment. They will want to make a profit asap
And the majority (if not all) the deals are not open ended. They are performance related.
Quite simple really
Don’t perform and your out!

I thought the long wait for Tata was more to do with a new production facility.

Raftboy..these are good friends..there is nothing nasty
..this is about having a different mentality. On a daily basis I chat to the local ones in my gym. Property developers. There is lots of banter and good advice given freely. Great atmoshere but there is a consencus..never do business with them...to cutthroat. Nothing nasty at all..but I am not surprised at the long wait for Tata...last post

I have an Indian daughter in law. You couldn’t meet a kinder or more generous soul. Good and bad in every country.

If they want our science they will have to pay the going rate, we have loads of company's asking about our science, SHO will not let them have our products on the cheap. DIAMOND.

T.t. there are others...and they have the same money mentality. They are nice blokes and good mates. Let's see how much time it takes for something to come out of Tata...they may want to see more of Opti.s products being sold before they start theirs. I like the way that smaller companies are being used to get the products to market. They are more than happy to incur the initial costs for products available...Tata ? Length of time taken already shows that they do not rush things or they want something for nothing.

Yes agree with the last few posts! I don't think those comments were necessary at all! You can't generalise a whole race with your experience of a few people!

On the contrary I have an Indian friend who is always the first to buy a round, not sure you can generalise so easily for a country with 1bln ppl!

Belgrano2..absolutely correct. My Indian friends are like that....I helped one out once because he needed to sell his house. He was quoted 1.5k to paint his upstairs rooms. Which were ok. I charged him a 100 pounds a day for three days to sort out and freshen the place..10 hour days. 2 weeks later i had to ask him for the money and he offered me 250 pounds. He then spent half the money from the house on an apartment and saved the other half for about 10 years..then he bought an investment apartment and lost out on 10 years of rising prices. It's in their nature. Always the last to buy a round as well.

Hope so TT, although the experience i related too was factual and after chemical cleaning of industrial equipment was completed. That was also after negotiations, just making the point, that they can be very difficult to deal with, and not at all surprised at time taken by SOH.
I've learnt to my loss that in many countries especially the Arab ones, that even when you think you have a solid agreement they go back on deals. However we will see soon enough.

Dealing with TATA will be pretty tough and protracted.

I know from experience that they are tough negotiators, almost want things for nothing, or "the honor of working for TATA", on your credentials, for work completed in their refinery's.
When you hold out they do come up with the payment, but they certainly try it on.
Good luck SOH.

Turmeric and Matcha pots are the best IMO, have a glass of water after you eat the bars and Muesli I find they fill me up for a good 4 hours but it may take a few days for your appetite to subside if you're a big eater

Should be able to buy lower tomorrow if no RNS in the morning. Or much higher if there is.

As Clint would say, Do you feel lucky, punk?

Just took delivery of my musli pots and bars.

Tried the bars - not the best texture but tasted fine, tried the musli bowls - a little weak on flavour and a bit like sawdust (I will mix the next one with granola).

So now I’m going to see when I crave food again 14:00 start the clock…..

Any views from other "users"
