Sienna - It could be. We can only guess. Another advantage may indeed be the cost effectiveness and consequently margins of sticking with the same organization.

However, relying on one company for all world markets? Really? All along SOH has banged on about reducing risk. If this agreement doesn't go well then where does that leave OptiBiotix? On the starting grid again is what I'd suggest.

As I previously said, I'm also skeptical because Sacco on the face of it appear to have contacts in Europe, but Asia, USA and the rest of the world? There's been no mention of that before or even in today's RNS. Surely there are other organizations far better placed in these regions?

Finally, most tellingly, is that there is no mention re: revenues already generated via Sacco? Where are those interims?

Why does SOH deem it necessary to conduct an interview after every RNS? All the hallmarks of an imminent cash raise imho.

Aimho of course.

...How can the Interims be in October?

Their half year runs from end November to end May.

Aim rules state that the half year results have to be released within three months of the period end - unless the rules have changed recently?

Fincap note:

"LP-LDL agreement for US and ROW CORP

OptiBiotix (OPTI) has announced the signing of a new supply agreement
with Sacco to cover sales of LP-LDL into the USA and Rest of the World
(ROW), in return for a 50% profit share, as well as extending the use of LPLDL
into dairy applications. This new agreement builds upon the earlier
supply and manufacturing agreement signed in March (European supply
only) and significantly expands the commercial potential for LP-LDL in light
of Sacco’s strong global distributor network. We keep our forecasts UR at
this time pending greater clarity on revenue forecasts but note that this
agreement signifies a significant strategic step for OPTI to access the
billion dollar US probiotic supplement market.

LP-LDL potentially a global brand with underlying science to support claims
of improved cardiovascular health and reduced cholesterol in subjects who use
products to aid healthy living. Sacco has given a commitment to support further
development of LP-LDL which includes marketing and human studies.

Sacco partnership extension is a strong corporate agreement with a supplier
and manufacturer with a global network of distributors. Sourcing of finished
products from multiple locations should diversify commercial risk, secure future
supply chains and utilises economies of scale to increase margins.

Expansion of LP-LDL into dairy aims to allow LP-LDL into the $36bn
probiotic dairy market. With Sacco already one of Europe’s leading probiotic
manufacturers (suppling over 2,500 businesses), OPTI also have commitment
for further product development to expand commercialisation further still.
Commercial development continues with OPTI once again expanding and
paving crucial relationships with key third parties in order to realise product
potential. We remain encouraged by management’s progress so far and the
extension both geographically and commercially (into dairy), of their existing
with Sacco."

Also notes Interims in October.

I don't think they'll put the results out on Friday. And Monday is Bank Holiday, so results will either be out in the next two days or Tues / Wed / Thur next week.

News in the weeks and months ahead. So todays release is in the weeks ahead category and this is the second time this has happened. Now we have the results due and posible contract news from some of the interested parties. And delayed reaction to today's news could mean that anyone selling would have to pay more to get back in.

M'Mouse is hell bent on doing his best to turn people off with clouding reality with his own made up negative stance. He would be best placed and better served and time better spent to get out of his AVN, TRAK AND STYLO shares, all duds and put his cash into OPTI. He says plenty on here, wasting his time on a share he does not hold either long or short. Personally never understood why someone would be so interested and talk about a share of which there is no investment holding. I wonder if he feels any remorse and pity, for the poor people who may have invested in those aforementioned shares, based on his poor recommendations, via his ramblings on the bb's and his cheeky and useless personal blog. The sheer audacity of the RAMPER, MICHAELMOUSE in saying that TRAK will get to £20, oh dear.AIMHO, of course.

The same peoeple will be buyig at higher price in a few months time. It's the way herd mentality works and its how 'clever' people have been able to rule the herd for centuries.

Absolutely fantastic news today, it's a shame some people don't see the bigger picture (with all the sells)! I also listened to the interview and SOH seems very confident!

So from SOH in the interview:Having a single manufacturer helps simplify negotiations, especially with large corporates. Sounds like lots of dairy opportunities in the Asian market...

Raf - Red SBTX. It is just my opinion. My logic is, that expect positive news in on the coming months which should assist with a progressive rise which may be helped as OPTI progresses and demonstrates the business model and corporate strategy.

Elrico, in one of your recents posts you summised that the SBTX distribution might not take place until the SBTX market cap/share price was higher than the current share price by a margin of 2 or 3.

Excuse my ignorance, is it your opinion that the SBTX share price may need to rise by more than 100% before such share distribution takes place? I appreciate this is is just your personal view by the way or am I way off beam?

2. Extension of LP(LDL) (R) into dairy applications utilising Sacco's network in the dairy industry to develop commercial opportunities identified by them in the global $35.5 billion probiotic dairy marketIf we're not in discussions with them already, I'm sure Benecol will be taking note of today's RNS. Quite a few media outlets have covered today's news and I expect more coverage as the news filters through to trade magazines.I wonder if we'll see a combination product of plant sterols with LP-LDL in the future for even better results?

parob,

like I said this agreement would have needed to be in place (in fact critical) prior to rolling out other licenses.

its still been missed by many but for me its a massive tell tale sign of whats to come.

the next few weeks and months could get very interesting. they've barely mentioned the US much but it look slike its game on for whichever companies are fighting it out for exclusive rights!!

Per Rehné status update on Linkedin:Per Rehné Commercial Director and Board Member at OPTIBIOTIX HEALTH PLC 1h As a result of our cooperation with Sacco and their excellent performance we have today announced a global agreement with Sacco and the extension in to Dairy Applications with the Focus on Functional Dairy which opens the opportunity for the consumer to maintain healthy Cholesterol levels through their daily dairy intake. This also means a strengthened promotional presence in the US and ROW which will help to speed up the commercialisation process. We are pleased and excited about this extension of our cooperation with Sacco.

From Michaelmouse post 1818...."In fact, it is clear from the previous RNS that they couldn't agree terms with any other organization to address these large markets and have had to stick with their European partner"It seems you are trying to insinuate that no other organisation wanted to run with the product!But...Could it not just as easily be that these other organisations were unable to agree terms as attractive as the ones agreed with Sacco (I mean 50% profit share is pretty damn good in my book - along with the other terms) and so Opti went for the better option? Isn't that what Opti should be doing?Sienna
