The DT interview seemed to me to be aimed at assuring weak PI's there s nothing company specific to the share price decline. IMHO, the NK & US sabre rattling (hope that's all it amounts to) worried investors/markets as a whole on friday, moreso US on Thursday. Like SOH stated, add summer months, a traditional low volume period, the fact key people OPTI are negotiating with maybe off on annual leave, all create the illusion something is wrong with OPTI. My single concern is (NK & US aside) is TW's £1 by Christmas. Those of that have been here long enough have seen negative impact such comments can have when they do not come to pass in the time frame TW predicted. SOH has been held to ransom for such comments before. Talking trades and his variants, has been caught out with this sort of comment, hence why he vented his anger at OPTI and not TW, because blaming the former means owning up to the trade loss and of course, highlights one is not the great TA guru he often tried to portray.

Shrewdie s spot on, it's not about rattling off deal after deal at the expense of lowering control and margin over your IP. It's about securing long term growth with key milestones and clear objectives or losing the contract, rewarding another corporate with the contract but not lowering the expectations.

39 companies is a lot of negotiating and organising, very time consuming, more so when dealing with MN corporations - These don't work at your pase. Most of us a long term investors, NOT TRADERS, so ignore the share price

"What I mean is, that SoH has pretty well hinted that we shouldn't expect much in the way of RNS's till the end of the Summer, IF I've understood that correctly.
I always got the feeling that it was 'news soon, at any moment'.
IF I've understood correctly, I could see the price drifting more." Well well well what do we have here? An Opti investor using his/her critical thinking?! Ban him/her immediately!!

Thanks for posting the interview.
I didn't feel that it told us much that we didn't already know, apart from something of a bit of a negative vibe.

Am I alone in this/have I misunderstood SoH's comments?
I really don't want to give the Shorters ammunition here, as I'm heavily invested (ha ha spill check came up with Incested'), to the the annoyance of my long suffering wife.

Only it won't be statins.

Question for anyone - we've had European agreement, New Zealand, Tata for Asia.

Wonder who will launch the statin alternative in uk?

I totally agree, but from the sound of that interview he expects the majority to close between September and 2018!

Ferdi

I'm not bothered how quickly they get sorted.
I'm more bothered that the RIGHT deals are done on the RIGHT terms.

Soh has said time and again he could sign deals daily but they wouldn't be on his terms.

The exclusivity payments and some income now will keep us topped up for funds.

At some point soon you will see Tata launch and I'd hazard a guess a Central American major.

In the meantime we are on royalties for product and sales and that will only grow.

This isn't a share to monitor daily imho. It's one to but and look in every now and again.

It sounds pretty obvious to me that SOH knows exactly what lies ahead and would hate LTHs to miss out having waited so patiently. If just a third of those 39 potential deals close out between Aug and end of the year, we'll be laughing.

A very good interview IMHO. Lots of opportunities going forward. I think that interview was to steady the ship and remind investors we are only at the start of the commercialisation phase.

Talkingtrading, it is clear you don't believe what SOH is saying so why are you here? Time to jog on my friend.
