I know exactly how options work
And I stand by my take that the exercise price for them is to low!

RNS: more bloody options granted. Exercise price 69.5p - wow only 7% growth and these 2 Directors trouser nearly £350,000 each. Nice easy money eh?

You do realize that the directors actually have to buy/exersise the shares at 69.5p adorling ?so were you get the "trouser nearly £350,000 each." gawd only knows, you obviously don't know how share options work as 3 other tick up posters don't either.

Yep and they're a good way of retaining high achieving staff.

When they achieve their milestones the share price should be a lot higher. Can't see a problem as people need incentives and their success reaps us PIs rewards too.

You'd think they were getting them for free!

Sheesh!!

Good to see some realistic options packages, with real targets. A refreshing change. I think the option price is quiet high. I'm sure they will be thinking of doubling the share price through contracts / revenues. Dont forget the options only have value if the 69.5p share price is exceeded. I also think the high price options reflects what they already have in the deal pipeline, otherwise why accept options that are already out of the money. The 2027 expiry date has no bearing as we will have a different company by then

someuwin,
She is part of the company. They are Directors!!
Holding back news so they can get cheap options
That's a very dangerous accusation to make

Not the company holding back news, the sales team (per & Christina)

Well lets hope that Per & Christina have been waiting for these options to be granted before they announce lots of juicy commercial deals they have been holding back on.

adorling. Not sure now you get 'pocket 350,000'?
Surely the share price would have to double for that to happen?
I think we would be ok with that!

Personally I think the option price is way to low.
I am all for rewarding directors for a good performance but these should have been set in the low 80's not a couple of bloody pence from where we are now. Reward them for rewarding shareholders.
Very disappointed

Did you miss this part?

Stephen O’Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, commented: “We are pleased to announce the grant of options to Commercial Director Per Rehne, and Sales and Marketing Director Christina Wood, who are leading the commercialisation of OptiBiotix’s products in global markets. Christina is leading the commercialisation of SlimBiome whilst Per is leading the commercialisation of LPLDL.. The options are exercisable on achieving a number of cumulative revenue milestones for each area of director’s responsibility designed to focus both efforts and activity on rapidly growing revenues.”

Looks reasonable to me.

Options granted at 69.5p.

Exercise subject to performance:

"Under the terms of the agreement the options are exercisable on meeting commercial targets including cumulative revenues for each area of director's responsibility."

No, not easy money. These options will only be awarded on meeting a number of milestones. A great incentive to rapidly build revenues. I would imagine these options have been awarded following both Per and Christina passing their 3 month probationary periods (they joined in March). I would love to know their cumulative revenue targets!

Yes, you are right. I will go back into my hole from where I came from. It's secure there. And I maybe wrong about Opti as well. Someone bought 358 shares so it's a sea of blue.
Good luck as I said before.

Isn't odd how many new profiles emerge and the first post seems to be on the OPTI Bash thread. And two posts in...TW bashing seems to be a very important past time for insecure these days.

I also see opportunity albeit very short term so I don't need to understand the business model as I won't be here then. I'm sure your news will come in the next few weeks and you will be on your way to riches. Until then I will try make money as I have done so for a bit now. Not just with this share but a number of TW's other tips that drop back after the initial rise. But you don't even get that TW rise with Opti anymore which has made it a bit harder. Just a general downward drift.
Anyway, good luck long term.i might even land it right and get some free bonus Sbtx shares, you never know.
