Looking bullish again. Ranged between 60 and 100 in 13 months. Failed last time at 100. Short term resistance at 90 and then 100 is the big threshhold. If it can get through that, with good support, I would imagine we recommence our journey upwards, which could prove remarkable, given that the share rose almost 10 fold in 2015. While I'm not expecting anything like that in the short term, I'm certainly looking for the £1 level to be breached, and some. So back in this morning. GLA.

I wonder if TW will now up his recommended buy price from 80p?

luminoso - I wouldn't assume the same, the commercial announcement and details thereof will be driven by timing of the production and retail listings to maximise NDA and protection from competitors. OPTI has stated they will have cholesterol/hypertension products by spring, I would expect this to mean retail listing as well, it is at this point I would expect MN's to be outed. Tata is expected to be officially named by the end of Feb, which will of course set the pulses racing and open new doors.

I have always said I expect Skinbiotix to list after its first commercial deal as this would assist both OPTI and Skinbiotix SP; Q2 is my guess - the later the better because OPTI share price should be well north of here now, thus confidence in a new OPTI related IPO would be strong.

Can we assume that if scientific details are being presented about the cholesterol microbe at Probiota, then an announcement of the deal done on that product will happen around the same time ?

The issue with the deals are Opti are doing is (and has always been the case) subject to nda's and confidentiality agreements so timing is more likely down to the commercial agreement being signed and the partner Mn allowing details to be released.

Yes, and I firmly believe that the real gains are yet to come once all the announcements are made over the next few months. Then, what do we have? A company with hopefully growing revenue across multiple streams and most geographical areas of the world. The truth is the potential here is massive and that is what I am buying into. Then of course there could be pharma applications in a few years down the line. So anyone buying today with a long term view could see a significant increase in the value of their holdings if they just hold for a while.

Parob, agree with your list on important Q1 announcements. I would add that there should be a major Skinbiome commercial deal announcement (in addition to the Skin demerger announcement), because I can't see the skin demerger happening without a commercial partner behind it (otherwise, there isn't any meat to spin off).

It would be ideal to time the RNSs evenly, say one per week in Feb and March, to enable steady and significant share price growth through Q1. Of course some RNSs have to be timed to coincide with an event (e.g. demerger announcement), whereas for others the timing can be selective (e.g. naming of Asian MN). So,with some good planning, should get a steady RNS stream , maybe starting next week.

I think the fast rise since the start of the year, and especially this week, will get new investors researching the company over the weekend. So I'm expecting much more of the same next week!

A nice rns would consolidate this over the next week or so. The recent appointments have given a public sense of credibility to Opti that wouldn't have been obvious to those not invested here.

Another penny to 76 might attract a few. If not up the thing more. Win win
Holders gain as do sellers

SM,
Agree
Orderly is good
I also get the impression that they are short of stock. If they want some then raise the bid to attract the sellers. Currently 74-77

Looks like a reasonably orderly market.

Each small buy is having to pay a bit more so doesn't look any large amount available.

I'm wondering if Opti want fincap to try and give us an orderly market as house broker is constantly on the offer despite their comments to my broker last week that they are a buyer not a seller of Opti?

Could be risky was right and they are desperately trying to fill new ii's but we are guessing.

Definitely some real strength in this move north.

Anyone remember the 16p + daily rise at the back end of 2015? Could be set for equal excitement in the coming days/ months when this really ignites!

A 10K buy at 76p has gone through already, pre-market opening. Is anyone else sensing another blue day is on the cards? IMO the great thing is the real excitement hasn't even started yet!News anticipated Q1:- naming of and more details on Asian slimbiome MN - finnCap research note/target price- skin demerger- commercial agreements on cardiovascular products (could spill over to Q2)- major retailer named for GoFigure to be rolled out across 200 of their best stores- one or two more commercial deals across their divisions.Plus there's lots of news that could just drop in on a number of fronts - more patents, appointments, acquisitions, conferences etc. As joyjoy13 says, so many strings to OPTI's bow!
