24/6/2019 09:07 | So, are we saying that Agropur have products that Slimbiome can go straight into without any development/ market research? If so, then revenues could come quickly. Do they produce animal feed products too? Or is it just the name that might imply that? Market seems to like the announcement (at present). | m4rtinu
24/6/2019 09:04 | Today's announcement isn't just significant because it's with the second largest dairy company in North America with $6bn sales, its the first signs Fred Narbel is leveraging his industry specific contacts. I have mentioned before just how important this new level of bod will be to drive massive growth in each area & take things to the next level. As most who have done their research will know, Fred Narbel was international sales director for Agropur for many years working his way up to VP of nutrition solutions. This upward career movement in the organisation tells me he clearly did very well there.Opti have now just appointed Agropur as the head of the supply chain for slimbiome in North America. This basically means Narbel, now working for Opti but having Agropur as manufacturer/supplie | riskybusiness1
24/6/2019 08:53 | Hopefully SOH or Fred will do an interview some point today. | woodaldo
24/6/2019 08:53 | Nothing wrong with adding some balance to the discussion. Dont mention TATA, another mega company that has delivered little / nothing for opti | hamid1970
24/6/2019 08:52 | Looking forward to TWs update. It will come as sure as night follows day. | pyglet
24/6/2019 08:51 | TW gets it "have communication with O hara this is big" | woodaldo
24/6/2019 08:35 | Best, Slimbiome is such a versatile ingredient the more pertinent question is.. what wouldn't you put it in? It's natural, Prebiotic, weight reducing, Microbiome diversity increasing, heat stable, taste neutral, adds bulk, texture and consistency to foods, is it any wonder massive Co's like Agropur, TATA and Dksh want a slice of the action?!!! | trotterstrading
24/6/2019 08:28 | Hamid ...yeah. A bit like giving BMW.s, Mercs, Ferraris to car dealers and saying:" Sell em if you can". Quality will always shine thro. Prat. | whitegold1
24/6/2019 08:27 | I don't know why we put up with the trolls on this thread; they don't on others. I think we ought to go en masse to the HUR thread and trash it. Perhaps then some people here would realise they are the king troll | nobbygnome
24/6/2019 08:16 | Shrewdmole We have had some numbers with previous deals like minimum first year Revenue then year two and three . I’m very pleased with the collaboration as Agropur word it and hope it will bring long term considerable revenue But with the lack of detail it’s hard to predict the numbers that’s all I’m saying. | best1467
24/6/2019 08:08 | Lol ... Rayrac dont surf! Cant wait for the TW ramp and Fred.s Proactive chat. The shorters will need their Full metal jackets. Vietnam theme/ new deal going on ...gla. | whitegold1

24/6/2019 08:05 | Agropur Dairy Cooperative announced earnings results for the first quarter ended February 2, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CAD 1,640.026 million compared to CAD 1,602.890 million a year ago. Operating income was CAD 11.907 million compared to CAD 14.331 million a year ago. Net loss was CAD 3.438 million compared to net income of CAD 58.262 million a year ago. Under pressure? I’d like to see some cash mentioned with this deal. | rayrac
24/6/2019 08:05 | Funny :) | judijudi
24/6/2019 08:02 | Bottom line is that it is a NO revenue deal. Like all manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements. Agropur need to find customers to sell opti product to | hamid1970
24/6/2019 08:01 | Love the smell of a supply chain coming together in the morning. Great news! | colinzeal
24/6/2019 08:00 | Wonder if Agropur will incorporate LP-LDL into their dairy products too. | parob
24/6/2019 07:47 | Best When a football club sign a new centre forward do they announce a prediction of how many goals he will score in the first season? No but you know the player and his reputation. Agropur are a multi billion dollar business. Numbers will follow on. Sheewdie | shrewdmole
24/6/2019 07:41 | Big deal would of liked some Numbers or up front payment minimum sales targets but no doubting potential just have to except deals don’t come with numbers. | best1467
24/6/2019 07:39 | Get in! Cracking deal. Grest selling aid when pushing for new business. Well done Freddy me lad. GLA. | whitegold1
24/6/2019 07:31 | Hamid I will do you a deal. You short 50,000 shares and I will buy 50,000 shares and see who feels better in a couple of months time. It’s a serious offer so let me know and if you’re up for it I will want to see your trade on level 2 or a pdf if your screenshot showing the short trade. Shrewdie | shrewdmole
24/6/2019 07:29 | This is a huge deal for more than one reason. Agropur are huge and have internal branded products so straight away I suspect their will be sales to other divisions but more importantly for me and a very shrewd move by Fred and the board is CII don’t seem to have performed so this deal means another major player competing with them. Not bad for little old Opti on aim to have to massive US partners going for sales rights. Guess slimbiome must work after all..... Shrewdie | shrewdmole |
