So, are we saying that Agropur have products that Slimbiome can go straight into without any development/ market research? If so, then revenues could come quickly.

Do they produce animal feed products too? Or is it just the name that might imply that?

Market seems to like the announcement (at present).

Today's announcement isn't just significant because it's with the second largest dairy company in North America with $6bn sales, its the first signs Fred Narbel is leveraging his industry specific contacts. I have mentioned before just how important this new level of bod will be to drive massive growth in each area & take things to the next level. As most who have done their research will know, Fred Narbel was international sales director for Agropur for many years working his way up to VP of nutrition solutions. This upward career movement in the organisation tells me he clearly did very well there.Opti have now just appointed Agropur as the head of the supply chain for slimbiome in North America. This basically means Narbel, now working for Opti but having Agropur as manufacturer/supplier of Slimbiome, basically means Narbel will just tap into his vast network from his days at Agropur & build significant Slimbiome revenues.I'd expect this same thing to happen with Steve Prescott with Probiotix from his days with DuPont, Pfizer & Probi. Your basically getting the vast network of industry contacts & quickly opening doors with this new calibre of bod arriving. This will clearly be a multi million revenue stream, likely very quickly too with Fred Narbel driving the division.

Best, Slimbiome is such a versatile ingredient the more pertinent question is.. what wouldn't you put it in? It's natural, Prebiotic, weight reducing, Microbiome diversity increasing, heat stable, taste neutral, adds bulk, texture and consistency to foods, is it any wonder massive Co's like Agropur, TATA and Dksh want a slice of the action?!!!

We have had some numbers with previous deals like minimum first year Revenue then year two and three .
I’m very pleased with the collaboration as Agropur word it and hope it will bring long term considerable revenue But with the lack of detail it’s hard to predict the numbers that’s all I’m saying.

Agropur Dairy Cooperative announced earnings results for the first quarter ended February 2, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CAD 1,640.026 million compared to CAD 1,602.890 million a year ago. Operating income was CAD 11.907 million compared to CAD 14.331 million a year ago. Net loss was CAD 3.438 million compared to net income of CAD 58.262 million a year ago.

Under pressure? I’d like to see some cash mentioned with this deal.

This is a huge deal for more than one reason.

Agropur are huge and have internal branded products so straight away I suspect their will be sales to other divisions but more importantly for me and a very shrewd move by Fred and the board is CII don’t seem to have performed so this deal means another major player competing with them.

Not bad for little old Opti on aim to have to massive US partners going for sales rights.

Guess slimbiome must work after all.....
