I find the new Slimbiome Medical sachets fill me up for 2/3 hours perfect to stop me snacking. Perhaps a little pricey for me tbh, but I'm not really overweight so not a priority for me

I don't want to argue either, it's just a difference of opinion, no harm done.

Anyway, in other news, I've just downed my first Slimbiome citrous drink. Really quite a pleasant taste, a bit like orange squash. I shall see if I feel full during/after lunch today.

No one on this board is a director. Big difference.

What if he only had 11k available in his ISA? We just don't know the circumstances. I feel comments like yours and others made last night actually could hurt more than a director buying a small amount of shares. He was't being criticised when he had no shares at all. I think we're total fools if we believe he only bought shares as a token gesture or to boost investor confidence.

Imagine pointing the finger at someone else on the board and claiming if they didn't buy lots of shares then it means they're not confident in OPTI. Ridiculous.

Perhaps I was too hasty yesterday too, but 11k is a small amount compared to other directors so it could be interpreted as putting in a token amount. Of course we can't know his financial position, but I would think that someone so successful would have a bit more spare cash - my comments were on the assumption he had a fair bit around, perhaps he doesn't. It just seemed a low amount to me, and could hurt rather than help confidence.

Mr Fergusen of Berendsen payed around £10,000 for some shares when the shares were falling, he got a bit of stick at the time as he held millions, 4 months later and the company was taken over with a 50% jump in the share price. Any profit is a good profit if you hold 1000 or a 1,000,000. DIAMOND.

The more big names they sign , the easier to sell .
I'm sure big companies don't want to miss out on what may be the next big thing .
Especially when the competition is in .

The pace of commercialisation is picking up and therefore so will news-flow. Four deals announced in May alone is a monthly record! The next 6 months should be the busiest we have ever seen, hence SOH stating it's an exciting time for the company. He will know what's coming.

I was one of the people who commented that the recent director buy was only a small amount. When set against the significant purchases by some other directors it is a small amount. However, yes I was wrong to deride his purchase for all the reasons others have stated overnight. I apologise and withdraw my negative comment.

Remember Directors have to be careful of the timing when buying shares. With OPTI there is so much going on that they have to pick the time carefully. This can only be GOOD NEWS !!! Also there are very many STALE BULLS here as it has taken much longer than anyone thought possible over a year ago. This has got to blow now very soon, not the time to be selling ANY shares at all. Lot of great small AIM stories around at present (BIDS, SKIN, BLOE, and NFX) but I think this is one of the safest bets. Still my second biggest holding. GLA
