Market pulling back ready for Christmas rally. Market goes up and down. Long way from a proper bear market although I have no issue if there was one. Just buy cheaper down. Bear markets are very quick in nature. End of the day markets going up is the inevitable outcome

No idea John. John Morley said they would keep us updated on twitter. Says Jan 2019 launch. They'd look good on supermarket shelves!

SBTX is joining the downward party now, and BST was 5% up only to reverse into 5% down.

Winter is coming.

It's feeling more and more like a bear market every day.

If you haven't been here before then you won't even believe the pain ahead, particularly for a company with a multi-million pound market cap and next to zero revenues.

Do some background reading on bear markets, but they can be savage.

What happens? Nobody wants to buy anything only sell. As the sellers try to get out, it creates forced sellers. Buyers remain thin on the ground. More sellers and more forced sellers and so it goes on. Liquidity dries up.

Even if Opti was profitable, it could potentially lose 75%+ of it's value from here in a bear market. It's not so the share price could potentially get trashed. No dividends, burning cash etc so no reason to hold or buy. Worse still any thoughts of getting a decent IPO away (i.e. in Opti's case a fund raise) becomes nigh on impossible.

I can't say for sure that this is a bear market, but the signs are there. Any (so-called) good news is immediately sold into. Sound familiar?

P.S. I don't like bear markets either, but I can ride them out :)

Unless the stock is being deliberately shorted to drive the price down and scare investors into selling.

Let it serve as a warning to people that throw allegations of fraud or imply behind a username, they are not always as anonymous as they think. If someone gives themselves up by falling into a trap, it serves them right.

From proactive article:In a note to clients, analysts at City broker finnCap said the deal demonstrated the company's ability to "attract high calibre, global partners, eager to utilise the potential inherent within LPLDL".

Given the RNS this morning and potential value of the subsidiary I've bought back in. Still downside risk now we've a big rerate across the markets but I think the moment revenue hits the bottom line this will retest previous highs imo dyor ofc.

If someone has set their mind on selling, or is forced to sell, then no amount of positive news will change their mind. Just need to hang on until the sellers have finished IMO

Is this about to turn? The 5K @ 81.8p is mine as there seems to be a lot of support at this level so not sure we will sub 80p. Let's see.

I keep looking for the bad news that s the reason for the drop. Can’t find any, in fact highly positive, so clearly it’s just nervous or forced sellers...if I’m wrong here please correct me. Also got funds ready if investors want to throw their stock away for peanuts...just don’t ask for them back.

Why Mr Smith do you keep knocking Opti. It's developing its market and delivering lots of good news - yet all I hear is negativity from you......
