Business update

Manchester, UK - 16 August 2018 - SkinBioTherapeutics plc (AIM: SBTX, the "Company"), a life science company focused on skin health, is pleased to provide the following update:

Manufacturing

The Company, with its third party manufacturer, has now achieved significant manufacturing scale up, with no detrimental impact upon the active properties of the SkinBiotix® technology.
In addition the material, which to date has been manufactured and supplied in a liquid form, has now been successfully freeze dried. The ability to freeze dry the material is an important steps towards commercialisation as it enables mass production, storage and transportation.

The SkinBiotix® technology has been shown to be stable and effective within the cream formulation for 24 hours. The human study, which is due to commence in September, is subject to the Company's ongoing work to confirm stability of the current formulation over an extended timeframe. The Company expects to provide an update on this in the coming weeks.

Financial Position

The Company ended the 12 months to 30 June 2018 with a cash balance of £3.2m (31 December 2017: £3.6m).
The Company will publish its full year results in October.

Dr Cath O'Neill, CEO of SkinBioTherapeutics, commented:

"The progress we've made so far in manufacturing and freeze-drying the lysate is very encouraging. The current formulation is undergoing extended stability studies in preparation for the human study."

Someone was asking about joining Elrico's Lemming site.
I have already joined, but find it incredibly difficult to follow what's going on, as it doesn't flow in time/date order as with any of the ADVFN threads.
So I'm in a bit of limbo, as I find Elrico's site hard to grasp, and this board taken over by Filtered nutters.

I’d be loath to value opti at more than £2m/£4m on just hope value only and I think I’m over stretching it a bit, especially on fundamentals. Plenty of agreements to look at the microbiome proposals, but actual cash payments? It doesn’t appear to be hitting opti’s bottom line.

As there are billions of microbiome in our bodies, far more than cells! Another party could probably go their own way should they think it’s worth it.

No, I just meant that I had sussed that plonker posting, quicker than usual.
He had posted hardly anything for eight years, then all of a sudden bang, a whole load of weird stuff on This thread, but with No useful info or advice.
Don't know why we seem to attract them here.
Anyway, despite the Pullback, I'm still confident in Opti and the excellent BoD, as well a as SoH himself.

I'll be another joining. Removal of the links is beyond pathetic. This 3 year long thread has become tainted by self serving personal agenda seeking parasites. What ever happened to sharing information that is thoroughly researched and helpful in making informed decisions. Isn't that the idea behind a forum? I think I know one! Good luck all I'll only be posting here now to help point newbies in the right direction so that they can get access to genuine people trying to educate others which is how it should be.
