PJ, what's your point? Are you just trying to temper enthusiasm or do you actually believe OPTI is a lifestyle Co? Do you hold any shares in OPTI?

Many reasons for people to sell. Only one reason the Rampers ramp.

Because they fear the end of the Bull run, or their personal situation has changed, retirement, bereavement, expensive kids and/or wife/ mistress- Maybe hoping to get in cheaper who knows?

Cab we take Mining as an example? Big fraud risk and risk its a lifestyle project, but once funding and placing starts to be obtained then share prices rise considerably. (hope)

Then they start to build the mine, share price usually drops (BKY is a current example). Despite tangible evidence Investors lose faith and sell. I don't know why

Buy the rumour, sell the News?

Exactly my point PJ, it doesn't make sense. Anyone holding for 2 years+ would have bought into the OPTI story.. why would they sell now, at the lows with commercial traction gaining momentum.. it doesn't make sense. A more plausible explanation is forced sellers (e.g. spread closure, stops being taken out, traders selling at a loss) or shorters.

Possible but unlikely IMO. Holding for 2 years only to sell at the lows with deals being struck left, right and centre? That would be strange
===============================================================================
If they were taking profits then they would have been holding for a lot longer than 2 years.

Equity bargain hunters can find an ideal playground in the U.K., according to Citigroup Inc. strategists
Citigroup expects returns in excess of 10 percent from British stocks through the end of the year, barring a Brexit-related or global shock that stifles growth. The FTSE 100 Index trails other major European equity benchmarks this year, down about 9 percent versus the Euro Stoxx 50 Index’s decline of 5 percent.

“Uncertainty, coupled with extended concern over U.K. domestic politics, appears to have oiled the U.K. equity market’s de-rating: we think this presents opportunity,” strategists including Jonathan Stubbs wrote in a note.

Proof that British stocks have become incredibly cheap abounds. A measure of the market’s dividend yield relative to bond yields shows U.K. equities have only been cheaper twice in the last century, and that’s during the two world wars, Citi found. International investors have stayed away, yanking money from U.K. stocks in five out of the past six years, with heavy outflows in the past two, the bank said, citing EPFR Global data.

More weak hands cleared, boy are they going to be kicking themselves in a few months

How do you kmnow they are 'weak hands' and not investors taking 100,200,300 or 400% profits?

From Elrico's post, relating communication with SOH (copied below). This is a very good point. If you make a forecast regards "financials" then this becomes an expectation and share price reacts to "over/under" further down the line. If you caveat forecast with a large range in which it could lie, this would be ignored, they'll just take the centre of the range for convenience.

"SOH: I think people misunderstand what you can say in an RNS. If we give any information on profitability it is seen by AIM as a forecast from the company and we have to then report to AIM on our progress on this. Any deviation outside forecast will have a large effect in the share price, one way or the other, and if more that 10% outside forecast will require a profits warning or trading update. Given the early commercialisation stage of the company where we are still building our deals and commercial pipeline their is a limited trading history on which to make a reliable forecast and the position is changing monthly, as we add new deals. We are not in the habit of guessing to promote share interest but are building the company to create sustainable long term shareholder value."

OptiBiotix transitioning to a commercial business, plans to open online store by the end of April

Loreta Juodagalvyte

OptiBiotix Health plc (LON:OPTI) has announced that it is gradually transitioning from a research and development company to a commercial business and plans to open its online store by the end of April.

The AIM-listed company said it is building value within each of its three divisions, leveraging the uniqueness of its technology to commercialise food ingredients and products so that each division becomes profitable and self-sustainable.

The obesity and cholesterol management company is also building its product portfolio with partners and developing an online store to create a shop window for its technologies and products. It expects this transition to be completed by the end of April. The shop will sell GoFigure products, the wider range of SlimBiome products and LPLDL formulations.
OptiBiotix said it is all part of a gradual transition from a research and development company to a commercial business: “The overall aim is to build revenues within each division to between £5mln-£10mln per annum over the forthcoming years.”

Stephen O’Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, said: “Industry interest is coming from national retailers and global corporates which have potential for significant upside given the scale of their market reach.”
He added: "We remain on track with our strategy of building multiple revenue streams from both consumer and pharmaceutical products across all our technology platforms."
