15/8/2017 12:26 | A few of our Shorters have called this down to 50p,and sadly it looks like the MM's are taking notice of them. John | 2350220

15/8/2017 11:29 | A present for Elrico --- It is no surprise the rampers have nothing to say in response to one of the largest Wholefoods in London removing Gofigure shakes from their shelves due to 'lack of space'. Lol like that's the real reason. Unlike Elrico, I have visited this store numerous times and one thing not lacking is space! ---- | ta1kintradin

15/8/2017 06:45 | Doc Many thanks for the enlightened view. Seems we get the product out there in uk and then it's a case of word of mouth and publicity to attract more users. Sm | shrewdmole
14/8/2017 22:48 | 8. That's why I suspect this will be an add on and mono therapy as stated9. I do expect demand to be substantial due to side effects from statins and primary prevention10. Moving away from "pills" I would like to see the LP LDL label become ubiquitous on a number of foods. I am sure this is the long term planGood luck to all LTHBtw on Lactobact 2 weeks now no Side effects what so everWill check bloods at 3 monthsAdnan | adnanwolf
14/8/2017 22:44 | Hi re prescribing on NHS1. Any company or distributor would apply via ACBS (Advisory committee on borderline substances) 2. They generally do not consider nutraceuticals unless specific indication and fairly robust evidence3. I think LP LDL has a good chance of being accepted4. Generally they would not accept a product which has a medicinal equivalent but in this case LP LDL lowers cholesterol and BP with no side effects which is fairly unique5. I suspect a product will be on shelves while an application is in process 6. I don't think this is a statin replacement per se rather an add on or mono therapy for those intolerant to statins and a massive help in primary prevention especially for ethnic minority patients with bad genetics. 7. Remember statins have robust morbidity and mortality data whilst we can infer similar benefits this is not proven. Statins also have anti inflammatory properties that help the anti plaque forming process | adnanwolf
14/8/2017 22:12 | While we are at it. I had a couple of days with elrico in belgium recently. I can confrm he has hollow legs, short as they are but bloody hollow. Im sure i seen him sink a dozen 11% beers and still walk almost straight. | slartybartfaster
14/8/2017 22:09 | Hi Aardvark63 Always good to hear some good news, thanks for sharing... too much doom and gloom in the world at the moment unfortunately. Good luck with your investment here. And Raftboy too TTFN | joyjoy13
14/8/2017 22:06 | Aardvark63, the feeling is mutual. Good to meet up and chat about OPTI and our past careers in the RAF. You know what they say "pull up a sandbag" LOL. | rafboy
14/8/2017 21:59 | Hi Joyjoy,I believe posters were stating where they lived, and rafboy, from London originally, stated Cornwall. His posting alias suggested we shared a past career which proved to be correct.I read these boards far more than posting due to many peoples hidden agenda and take a pinch of salt what I read on here. However, it was good to meet up with a fellow OPTI investor.Best wishes | aardvark63
14/8/2017 21:50 | Lol Rampers never recognise themselves as Rampers. | monkeywench1
14/8/2017 21:28 | Im only stating the facts I experienced Monkeywench... Just the way you like it ; )If you consider me relaying my experience truthfully as ramping then I guess there's no helping you fella.Sienna | siennadelekat21
14/8/2017 21:24 | my wife has lost over 2.5 stone on the go figure diet .. took a bit longer than your success Sienna but she is delighted !! Maybe I should have mentioned ta1ktrades "red flags" and stopped her from the start :O) | onedayrodders
14/8/2017 21:20 | Blooming eck there is a lot of ramping on this board. | monkeywench1
14/8/2017 21:11 | Just back from a meet with rafboy. It's the first time I have met with any fellow BB share holder and I found him extremely genuine. Like Ronseal, he's exactly whats stated on the tin.It was a pleasure meeting you sir! Now off to catch up with the latest soh presentation. | aardvark63
14/8/2017 21:00 | Just for a laugh, here's a quick update about my recent Gofigure usage.I started taking them again a month ago:The first 3 weeks was just 1 shake a day - which replaced breakfast). The last week (up until today) has been 1 shake (for breakfast) and 1 bar (afternoon snack) on weekdays and only a shake (for breakfast) at the weekends. On the weekends my healthy eating discipline generally goes out the window (went to a barbecue this weekend for example - and certainly didn't skimp on the hotdogs and burgers etc.)Last weekend I enjoyed Fish n Chips with the family and also had a meal out at Pizza express. In one month of dieting (if you can call it that, with all the blowouts I've had) I've reduced my weight from 17 stone 1 pound to 15 stone 10 pounds (weighed today). Not far off 9kgs loss! It's quite literally the easiest weight loss method I've ever tried - bar none!Cheers Sienna : ) | siennadelekat21
14/8/2017 20:41 | Elrico Many thanks for the info. Let's wait and see who the uk partner will be then. Like I said I'm just musing over the dots..... S | shrewdmole
14/8/2017 20:31 | From SOH L.P -LDL will be available in the UK in multiple formulations, most likely via retailers and on line sales. The GP market requires an extensive sales network and is widely dispersed and hence not that attractive commercially unless via a pharma partner. Your point is valid over Stevia producers but you have to stimulate interest from the business end users first. | elrico
14/8/2017 19:22 | Elrico I see your point but we have a scientifically proven alternative to statins. How we get that in front of the gp is intriguing. Professional media, nhs recomendation or as you say supplier that does the legwork for marketing. With the reductions we have seen and the capabilities I'm just a bit more than surprised there wouldn't be conversations going on about how that alternative is rolled out. That discussion could well be a 3 or 4 way deal. Price supplied to nhs, price from supplier/manufacture Just mulling things and trying to connect the dots but soh is canny enough to be looking at that statin replacement space. S | shrewdmole |
