renalrod Just my point the fact is good,the figures are almost incidental as we need billions a year and testing all the way.
I note Russia coincidentally posted about their Sputnik V vaccine in use since August ....and the proof well there isn't any as yet Just take a look at the infection rate curve for Russia that has not abated at all.

So much store put by one announcement DYOR as always.

50 million this year possibly as many as 1 billion next year or at least by 2021. Lets say a round billion and 10% dont work that's approximately 900,000,000 It has to be given in two doses a month apart so 450,000,000 people can be vaccinated...Test them FOR ANTIBODY presence at all stages and even when the vaccine works and the antibodies are present for say 4 months ( CURRENTLY 80 days is apparently the real number but round it UP to half a year 6 months not 80 days and assume T cells remember the Virus footprint giving some protection....Then assume only front line workers and frail elderly are to get treatment probably necessary twice a year takes the number that can be treated to 250,000,000 BUT if as above the antibody count drops at the expected rate this might mean ( generously ) that 150,000,000 people can be treated annually....and people are worried that this gamer changer has stopped this company in its tracks "You cannot be serious" Ant
