13/10/2020 08:14 | This from today's FT - at least when Mologic eventually gain approval we'll know it's the real thing..... "With the abundance of new providers appearing on the market at the same time, the difficulty for many businesses is identifying the most reliable option to provide security for their workforce. “There’s too much shoddy science around at the moment, it tarnishes the companies trying to do it right,” said Joe Fitchett, chief executive of diagnostics company Mologic, which has developed a rapid Covid-19 test but is still awaiting regulatory approval. “I’ve never seen it like this. Tests are being pushed through for commercial reasons, not scientific reasons.” | rivaldo

12/10/2020 18:38 | barrywhit do they net off. if so they are probably just a cross. maybe non market awaiting client details, but just going through the reporting system. | upomega

12/10/2020 15:27 | Looks to me like the MM's have had another large sell order to try and place.. | barrywhit
12/10/2020 13:30 | Exactly - when Abingdon and the consortium partners are ready, not when bb posters would like them. | rivaldo
12/10/2020 12:25 | Not true, the RNS's re orders come when Abingdon are ready, not ODX who have to wait for the lead partner to release the confirmation ... | control1
12/10/2020 09:34 | the perceived risks are minimising with some apologising on Twitter! | jusjusjus
12/10/2020 09:24 | Added a few this morning. The reward far outweighs any perceived risk. | ant15

12/10/2020 08:40 | Nice bounce now that the early morning traders are out. MRHA news coming this week? Certainly a high chance of Abingdon-related confirmation soon, but RNS's will come when ODX are ready and not when bb posters demand them. | rivaldo
11/10/2020 23:50 | Sincerely hope you're right but seem replies like that before....Of more immediate importance is the release of an RNS first thing tomorrow to confirm the contract that Abingdonhabe been awarded... | control1

11/10/2020 14:17 | ODX confirmation no need for a placing after July raise via email last week. | michael boyle1
11/10/2020 13:42 | Maybe that is the intention, PR kicks in after placing completed. | thehitman1
11/10/2020 13:01 | I see Allyson Pollock is fighting John Deeks corner on twitter....LOL | barrywhit
11/10/2020 12:25 | What is plainly evident is Walbrooks inability to get to grips with the level of PR/IR required. They produce tweets with dated links to paywalled articles & get paid for it. Like the UK Gov't that had the heads up from Italy at the beginning of the pandemic & squandered it - Walbrook had Deeks as a heads up & coming into a weekend (print media prime time) appear to have been completely without foresight & unprepared. CK has enough on his plate but once MHRA approval has landed, Visitect CD4 final approval is in & Mologics saliva antigen test tech transfer is underway - he'll perhaps get a breather to review PR/IR & HOUSE BROKER. | gooosed
11/10/2020 11:36 | I do not know the context in which Professor Ashton made his comments but they are at best pejorative. As I said yesterday do not let the perfect be the enemy of the good - those quoted academics are seeking perfection and it does not exist - we need to accept that whatever test there will be false positives/negatives and you want to put in place steps to mitigate that risk each step along the process from development to manufacturing to use to result reporting. The U.K. IVD industry in my experience operates to very high ethical standards ( more so than the home brew efforts of the NHS) so to imply otherwise is highly defamatory. When there is the inevitable enquiry into this mess there has to be a review of SAGE's role in this including its constitution and membership - the Government would appear to have been ill-advised by a number of its members - is that the members fault or Successive Governments in how they appoint people to such committees. | nxc |
