Omega to pay £3.2m for CNS



CAMBRIDGE Nutritional Sciences/Genesis Diagnostics at Littleport are being bought by AIM-listed medical diagnostics firm Omega for £3.2m.

CNS, a finalist in this year's News Business Excellence Awards, specialises in food intolerance testing.

Omega specialises in infectious disease testing and exports 95% of its products to more than 100 countries.

Over the past three years CNS/Genesis sales have grown to more than £2m, with a combined profit of more than £300,000.

After the consoladation...There will be 14 million shares in issue 10 million tied up with the directors and held by Cambridge nutritional ex owners..

Leaves 4 million...tinyest bit of news and they will react accordingly..

Its an excellent Acquisition...the 350k sell took the bid down from 0.9p to 0.85p... The mms have only those to sell.. Can get 225k online for 1.05p Once they are gone they have no stock..

As i posted earlier..I was watching all day yesterday...Could buy none on either tdwaterhouse or selftrade...


The mms wanted to hang on to stock...But the news got overlooked...Looks like its starting to gel with people that this is way undervalued..
