18/10/2010 10:44 | substp, NXT sold a story to Gartmore and others at 13p remember last year! Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 10:42 | isis ...... I think NXT had to work hard to sell itself to raise these monies . It isn't easy these days as I'm sure you are well aware of . Money is still tight and everything is scrutinised ..... | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:37 | Well if I were putting money into a Pension/Unit Trust I would not be happy with the money that has been squandered on this Company by useless Fund Managers. Remember it is not their dosh. | ![]() isis
18/10/2010 10:32 | I was surprised by the size of the Placing . They definately have support there for some reason ..... :-) | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:29 | The other damning thing is lack of Director Shares take up. Only 2 have taken new shares the CEO 50k and some bint 10k, none have taken their offer entitlement. Leave that to the suckers. | ![]() isis
18/10/2010 10:29 | substp, Cash (that is going out today faster than coming in) + IP (that has little value)+ ongoing business value (that today is loseing money) = Lots of hope and promise in JL's hands. Today, with the amount of sales and revenue known and amount of shares on offer post 20th October fairly valued. If we get the next results showing the same old trend (no increase in royalty revs and overheads still outstripping sales) then overvalued.....and alarm bells should start to ring. Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 10:25 | isis I was referring to the author of the IC article this time . Did he have doubts about whether there would be a full take up ? | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:23 | Lisa .... Cash + IP(including ongoing business)= ? (per share) | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:22 | sus - I don't have sour grapes - I have never owned any shares. Just telling you the facts - take it or leave it. | ![]() isis
18/10/2010 10:20 | substp, An interesting question. If you look at managements own documentation for the fund raising you will see they in their own words say that if the company fail to raise the cash, then the company would not be able to raise enough cash to continue as the SALE OF THE IP would not bring in enough to save them from Insolvency.... That IMHO shows the true worth of NXT's IP today.....a lot less than 3p a share. Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 10:15 | isis ....more sour grapes Lisa .... does that 3p (which is suppose to be at a discount) take consideration of the value of the company (ie.IP) ? | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:11 | I hope the 14:00 AGM won't be dull and that we here from someone who's been . | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:10 | substp, The price of the new shares was a fraction under 3p. The share price today stands around 18% above that and without concrete evidence of new orders/contracts.... that IMHO is enough "hope/jam" for now. However I will be amazed if within 24 hours of or before JL standing up at the AGM an RNS is not released of a new contract sales of a new revenue stream for NXT. We shall see. Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 10:07 | Are we playing "Good Cop , Bad Cop" on this forum ? :-) | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 10:01 | The market has already penciled in the price for those extra shares . Now it's up to the new management (with its better than expected backing) to make this a better company than it has been . | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 09:55 | isis, Far from it. Ramping or de-ramping come from being totaly ignorant of facts from the opposite view or reality. I was not de-ramping I just could read results, read failed future guidance and took a believe it when I see it stance....I never saw it because it was never their! The reality was NXT constantly ran out of cash, never ever looked like selling enough units royalty to cover overheads and was clearly run by people who some may say should not be allowed near a pub raffle. I was never ignorant of the other sides story but it was never backed up by NXTs results every 6 months....no or few growing sales. NXT now have money in the bank, no debt and mature techs and it would appear a new solid quality management. So a good solid base. Now, the clock once again begins to tick ie Overheads, Sales, Profits or Loss. The gamble is in if NXTs techs are seen to be needed by customers and so produce meaningfull sales and good solid royalty rates leading to growing re-ocuring profits. No proof yet that this is the case. Time will tell but it must be kept in mind those huge number of new shares available post 20th October which will/could/should act as a break for quite a while...maybe. Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 09:55 | What makes you think the new tech is any better? | ![]() isis
18/10/2010 09:50 | Was the said statement before or after the Quanta deal ? | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 09:49 | "because management have made it clear it will not bring in material monies going forward " Would someone please post where this statement came from .... "NXT expects to receive royalty income from the agreement." ??????? I'm truly confused here . Who do I believe ? | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 09:45 | OMG - lisa's ramping again! LOL | ![]() isis
18/10/2010 09:44 | New management and new money isis ...... I do feel sorry for those who have suffered their long journey to this point in time ...... :-( | ![]() substp
18/10/2010 09:43 | rajawna, Fully agree NXT is a new animal, fully funded and they have fixed and ticked all my previous negatives ie Poor management, poor business plan, lack of funding, etc.and of course the Mkt Cap much more suitable to were NXT is today. From this level it should be treated as a new entity.....hence why substp should not be ramping DST because management have made it clear it will not bring in material monies going forward although if you only have a £10 coming in the 50p from DST would be welcome!!!! For those who wish to have a high risk/ reward stock in their portfolio, at this level, with the money in the bank and techs already matured or nearing maturity, one could do worse than NXT . Good Luck Lisa:) | lisa279
18/10/2010 09:41 | I have followed the history of this Company and it is a disaster ramped by illogical and disillusional shareholders who have allowed the Directors to walk all over them. A dinosaur from the techboom where very few stocks are still around let alone made a profit. | ![]() isis |
