01/2/2022 13:06 | NWF Group posted Half Year results this morning for the period ended 30th November, 2021. HY revenues were up 30% to £402.6m, H2 operating profit was up 57% to £4.7m, profit before tax was up 72% to £4.3m. This left diluted EPS up 65.1% at 7.1p. Clearly these are impressive numbers. The business has been growing its top line revenues solidly for a number of years now and the business is profitable, 5-year CAGR EPS growth is running at around 10%. The balance sheet is solid. Valuation is the main drawback, with forward PE ratio at 12 in the bottom quartile for the Oil and Gas sector. The share price also lacks momentum, not much better than flat over the past 2 years. NWF looks to be a generally solid and growing company, but there is no great rush to buy here. Monitor for now...from WealthOracleAM | km18

02/11/2020 07:55 | Ooopsss, happy I'm not currently in here, thoughts with holders:- NWF Group plc: Cyber Incident NWF Group plc ('NWF' or the Group), the specialist distributor of fuel, food and feed across the UK , announces that it has experienced an unauthorised access to the IT systems in two of its divisions (Feeds and Fuels) and at Group level. There has been no unauthorised access at the Group's Food division. The Group has engaged external specialists and has taken precautionary measures with its IT infrastructure, including taking systems offline whilst it continues to investigate the nature and extent of the incident, the recoverability of any compromised data and any effects on the operability of its systems. The Group's businesses remain operational; the customer service teams in Feeds and Fuels are using alternative systems and procedures to fulfil and deliver orders . In light of the complex and evolving nature of this situation, the Board has requested that trading in the Company's ordinary shares be suspended until it is in a position to provide more definitive information. | cwa1

29/1/2020 14:38 | IC - NWF’s latest acquisitions aren’t expected to add significantly to profits in fuels and foods in the current full year, but Panmure Gordon expects a £1m boost to profits in 2021. Deflationary pressures and lower commodity prices depressed revenues in the group’s feeds division, but NWF managed to maintain half-year operating profits here at £0.7m. NWF shares were largely unmoved by this set of results, but we retain our confidence in the group’s sound record on integration – a prerequisite for acquisitive growth – and its ability to navigate a difficult market backdrop. Buy. | davebowler
28/1/2020 08:28 | NWF H1 results overview Positive H1 all divisions in line, or exceeding expectations.
