They're even back onto 'the lost data' as well now!

They clutch at more straws than a Trump campaign team.

Got to love the twitter crowd, one poster saying NFX is not a covid stock then one minute later posting that they are expecting news of the covid trial work!

True, or some wish washy garbage that would do more harm than good. We await a substantial update on an ongoing deal....

Peverill, whilst companies have a duty to keep shareholders up to speed, they can't make up news where there is none.Sometimes we just have to accept that there is nothing new to say. After all this is a company with just 3 full time people.

My post wasn't meant as some deramp,it's just the company seems to be in some sort of capitulation and no director seems to want to say anything about it or defend it.I own shares in PRM and they are the same, months of silence and then not much when they do decide to talk.Company's have certain duties to keep shareholders upto speed, which few adhere to.

I once held shares in a company called QXL that underwent that kind of nonsense. It was way back in the dotcom boom era and was tipped as a UK competitor to Ebay (yes, I know it seems daft but it was worth 2bn at one time). The price collapsed to a point where it looked like it was about to go under when, out the blue, up stepped the board with a derisory offer to save us with a management buyout that would take it private. It looked like we were going to lose pretty much everything. The company was about to be taken off our hands for a pittance. However, the board hadn't banked on there being a couple of dark horses sat on the sidelines waiting to pounce. The bid war that ensued ended up with the company being sold off privately to South Africans for about £900m and it changed its name to Tradus. I think it still operates as a commercial vehicle auction today. So, my point is that sometimes plans and schemes to take things out on the cheap don't always work out.

I sold most of my holding last week as don't trust whats going on here. 2 directors dumping is not a good sign no matter what anyone says about our products. Down to just 200k shares .I hope for the sake of the long suffering shareholders all comes good in the end.

Are these being primed for a cheap buyout.Deals disappear or put on the back burner, company silence, directors selling to spread fear,it's all heading that way.!!!!

Agreed. We have had very little positive news (if any really) and continued director sells screams alarm bells. The covid spin on recent RNS's gave no detailed information, including on timeframes. Shareholder confidence is low. At least before we used to get a few interviews here and there. Maybe there is nothing to say?

I shall not be putting any more in. I have no confidence or faith in the management (current or past) at this point. They demonstrated nothing short of incompetence in allowing this share to nosedive from 15p down to below IPO level.I am over exposed, having made the mistake previously of keep buying in because it looked oversold. I believed that the technology was as good as they said. It seems that that was all blather. How else could a 'transformational deal' in Asia just wither and not take shape at all. In addition to that, we were short-changed by the Chinese! (It seems DG may have not learned that lesson as Qureight appear to be funded by more Chinese money from CMS).Unfortunately, with the ex-directors so eager to offload, I don't think this can be 'oversold'. I will not ramp it up for their benefit though. I will just have to sit tight and hope that something materialises under CB's watch. I just hope those ex-directors dump out well before then and completely miss the boat...if it does ever turn up.

So I guess the vaccine news caused the share price to drop? The silence from the company is deafening

Disappointing to see this drop further, agree it is likely this is the covid crew exiting on a whim having never learned what nfx actually do or what their plans were with the covid link. Trouble I have with this now is same I had last month do I sink more money in going past my better judgement and overly exposing myself to risk in return for better value? I'm now losing on my last months purchase at 3.099, will it be 2 or worse yet in the next few months? Value wise its difficult to way up currently, as we should be way north of here based on what we have, but we also have 3 large holders selling, and no news yet delivered. Its screaming bargain but beware.

Who knows for sure. I still think they would have known that a placing was needed well before it actually came about. The fact that the price went the other way was probably not what they expected. All they have to do to prove that theory is wrong is release some positive, solid news to tell us what progress has been made on the back of the placing.
