Point is, as the previous RNS states, they cannot guarantee a deal will go ahead, so they cannot guarantee they will have 15m. Whereas they can undertake a placing and get the cash in the bank. Then they can progress their work regardless of the negotiations.

Otherwise you get the opposing negotiator saying 'you're desperate for cash so we'll hang you out to dry.'

That deal is still being negotiated but now their is multiple companies wanting the deal so maybe just maybe it will be even better and taking a small placing to accelerate the positives is sensible business management
