31/12/2022 19:03 | It just seemed a bit weird that you were asking others on here to convince you why you should invest in NCYT, not the investment strategy I would use but all the best to you anyway moving forward. | shanew48
31/12/2022 18:27 | Why exactly am I a weirdo? Because I asked a question? I tell you what would be weird and that would be to invest without knowing why the share price going up. I've done my research but can't find a logical answer. That's why I asked the question. But it's all good. I've wished you all good luck. | rajraj b

31/12/2022 12:26 | Rajraj, I think it would be wise to consider the implications, months from now rather then short term. In a depressed market many companies are valued at below cash. A positive outcome from the contractual dispute could bring to the table a return of cash to investors. But this is all about sentiment as imo until the market prices in cash as well as a proportion of a positive outcome from the contractual dispute, the speculative aspect of any valuation linked to the worry about new variants cannot be disputed and as such this remains a low risk investment. I would argue that this could rise at least 50% whilst being backed by solid fundamentals before any conversation can take place regarding lofty valuations related to a significant shift in speculative sentiment. £3.40 to £4.60 target achievable as and when the government report on XBB.1.5 and any potential new variant that is flowing through the Petri dish that is China. | diversification
31/12/2022 11:54 | Versalab is a ready built mobile lab and it can be deployed anywhere at any time, no need to build a lab. All it takes is a phone call and a fleet of Versalabs would be sent out for immediate installation. This could prove beneficial for novacyt and the UK airports/ports. It is a win-win for Novacyt, nhs and the government | trustedinvestor

31/12/2022 11:50 | Variant of concern (VOC) XBB1.5 is on the rise worldwide now and is causing significant increase in hospitalisations- need PCR to slow transmission so an improved vaccination booster is designed to protect us all from this VOC - testing with PCR is the only way of buying time to achieve this goal- that's the game plan . We are in the mix . Share price will go up significantly. Watch it unfold. | fhasson
31/12/2022 11:35 | Novacyt has an office in China. Just put the pieces together... | trustedinvestor
31/12/2022 11:27 | Ok, the cash balance v MCap argument makes a more compelling argument but this was the case before the China news and it did not inspire buyers like the recent news has. From what you're saying, this is the beginning of Covid all over again with forced PCR testing before flying and mandatory vaccinations before travelling overseas. If it is a worldwide blanket rule that all arrivals from any country need a negative PCR and subsequently 10% of these will be randomly tested with PCR test ( of which a percentage of these will be NCYT tests - not all) then yes the rise makes some sense. But it is yet to be seen if these severe rules will be re-introduced again. If it's just limited to Chinese arrivals only, doesn't make any sense at all. | rajraj b
31/12/2022 10:50 | Investor/trader/long Risk reward is compelling with current market cap below cash on balance sheet. With the addition of a positive outcome from the DHSC contractual dispute, NCYT have no doubt demonstrated to those that matter that it’s position as a diagnostic company has only been enhanced by this pandemic. According to reports, 10% of the worlds population is expected to be infected by Covid in the next few weeks. With the unfortunate perspective of new prevalent vaccine invasive variants taking course. This is not good news for humanity. Why would the UK government backtrack on its stern stance of removal of all restrictions? They are worried. Am I worried, yes. Is testing now more likely to return now then before China opened up, yes. Keeping an eye on the bigger picture. Let’s see how it evolves as I believe the world population has become exhausted with the COVID story but in turn has opened itself up to a potential backlash. I hope I am proved wrong, but governments are worried and this is evident by their most recent actions. Whilst they won’t shut down or restrict, they will need to test imo. | diversification
31/12/2022 10:26 | A fifth of the Chinese passengers, randomly selected will be tested upon arrival in the UK. | trustedinvestor
31/12/2022 10:10 | You follow the news. Yea why can't they buy them. But this will spread everywhere. This gets a lot worse. Over a billion people have been shielded from this the chance for new variants is hige. Therefore PCR right back on the table. Just remember as well. This is valued at less than cash in the bank. The valuation is on the floor despite the recent rise. It's all about valuations and this is too low for what could be on offer now. | gregpeck7
31/12/2022 09:03 | For NCYT this just gets better and better. | gregpeck7
