BBC also stated that even if a cure is manufactured it could be 8 months away and prioritising the elderly and the sick. There is only one way imo to stop the spread and that is to test and quarantine people traveling and to do that it needs to be a quick and reliable test. France have shut borders within the alps to Italy so they are taking this pretty seriously.

IMO lots of stocks in other sectors (mainly industrials, miners, oilers etc.) will be sold these days in anticipation for a long painful struggling world economy. Loads of cash will be put into the likes of NCYT. The next few days will show this assuming no news will come.
