I have been wondering the same about 1.40 myself, I'm actually a little surprised it has moved this rapidly. 10% since the start of the year is a huge jump and I'm just glad I'm on the right side of it...for a change, lol.

As for the future I have already said I don't do predictions - analysts should heed that advice ;-)

Already here and benefitting from the strength of sterling as still have most funds tied up in UK.

Interestingly, I had some dosh to exchange to euros in December and I asked Moneycorp if they saw 1.30 in early Jan (as I did) and they recommended doing the deal at 1.28 max...

Shows what they know, ba@tards. Anyway, I trusted my judgement and Mr. Draghi's intentions to print money and it has been a sound decision

Do you see a break at 1.40 with the election on the near horizon? I do, but then it should start going into mid-1.40s by year end if we do raise rates...

Better than NTOG anyway, eh?!

I think ADVFN Complainers should fork out a £25 up front charge.
If their complaint results in a removal of a post (or posts) then they get their money back.
IF NOT they lose their money !
